We had 'comfort' room': quiet, roomy, comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful, interesting decor, nice hotel bar in the evening, close to transport links and restaurants. 'Local' feel to hotel and surroundings.

Very minor but there was no body wash in the shower and the pillows were quite odd and not very comfortable.

Great location - very close to tram stop and walking distance to two railway stations. Hotel was very quiet. Staff wonderfully helpful and considerate. Beds exceptionally comfortable and bathroom perfect.

At this price tag, they could provide a complimentary bottle of water in the room. The bed pillows were not so comfortable.

My second time staying at this hotel and it is always a good experience. The building with the courtyard, art work and decorative style is lovely. Loved the breakfast.. lots of variety.

Very close to transport and some local restaurants. Easy to walk to Christmas markets and access lots of attractions. Room was large it felt warm and cosy as temp really dropped when we were there.

The location was excellent in the East side of Berlin with ample access to public transportation and to GDR Museum and the Berlin Walk. The breakfast was The best we’ve ever had at a Hotel. Such a wide selection of food with a great staff . We requested a takeaway. of the breakfast as we had an early flight . The staff packed it with 3 different sandwiches filled with wonderful cheeses lunch meats , fruits .. it’s as if the buffet breakfast was either us all day

I had a wonderful stay with my son of 15 years old in this magnificent hotel in an attractive neighbourhood where we discovered tasty restaurants with enough vegetarian options at very reasonable prices. Tram stop to the center at the corner of the street and on the next corner a very cheap supermarket to avoid extra costs, what else do you need for a perfect city trip?

Was not offered coffee both days, I had to go to ask at the front desk as no one was around both times to serve me but if you wanted tea this was self serve. Also the pillows, they were soft but with the firmer ones it’s just a wrapped up version of the soft and comes undone in the night. Would recommend a different plan for pillows as I see this is a common feedback from other guests in the reviews too.

No bathroom soap, just what was labelled as shampoo in a refillable dispenser, which is not hygienic.

Steps from M2 tram to Alexanderplatz…a major transport and shopping hub. Decor and amenities of hotel are 4 star plus. Breakfast room is a work of art and oh…outstanding breakfast selections.

Knut and David were so helpful with all our needs and questions. We got tips on everything from public transportation, restaurants to hidden gems to visit. Breakfast was really good, with healthy obtions. We will be back.
