Location, facilities, staff and cleanliness! Best organised breakfast service l have experienced in a long time. No dirty tables- relaying promptly with polish! Highly trained staff, beautifully dressed and obviously take pride in their job .

What I didn't like was the fact that I mentioned we are 2 adults and one 9 year old child and we arrived late in the night and the couch did not have any bedding or pillow. It was annoying to call the reception at 12 at night for sheets and pillows.

The location is great. Right in the middle of the city :) The hotel is clean and the personal was nice. We only stayed there for the night so not much I can say.

Small things could have been better: the air-cooling was a little noisy which made us want to turn it off overnight despite hot weather. We were charged for bottles of mineral water left on the desk; we did not realise that this would be the case and had not used drinks/food in the minibar. It would also have been good if the tea bags and coffee creamers which we used had been replaced.

This is a very comfortable hotel in an excellent location for exploring the interesting city of Leipzig. We paid extra for a larger room with a spacious seating area (sofa, armchair and desk). The decor is simple; all white with no pictures and some might think it has the feel of a hotel for business travellers, but we were very happy. Our room also had a view of Burg Platz (rather than some other rooms which overlooked an internal courtyard) which was extremely pleasant. The large bed was very comfortable and the tea/coffee making facilities were excellent. Also plenty of storage space and hangers for clothes which is sadly rare in hotels. The air-cooling was efficient and the room was very quiet.

There wasn't anything we more we could have wanted or needed. Absolutely no complaints!

No free water on arrival nor drink-making facilities (as usual in UK); having to climb into the bath to turn the bath taps / shower on,; bathroom door did not stay ajar; no facility to keep water in washbasin.

Quietness and cleanliness each day. Quiet air conditioning. Very near to city centre and close to transport and amenities.

In our suite there was a problem with the shower drainage. We informed the staff but it was not resolved. The desk team was not able to give any information which was disappointing for an hotel so high rated. Still, the hotel is fine and recommended

Nothing that spoiled our stay but, like most German hotels, there is no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but we knew this.

Staff were great, helpful and welcoming, both front of house and housekeeping. The room was great, plenty space and sockets. Bed was comfortable and air conditioning was effective. Breakfast was good with a wide selection. Mini-bar in the room that was handy to add your own drinks to, to chill. Wi-Fi in the room was good too, we had no complaints with the two iPhones and small tablet we had with us. Location: city centre location, close to S-Bahn and trams, 2 stops from the main railway station, handy if you are attending WGT, and there is a well stocked Rewe near by. I would happily come back.

The comfort was distracted by the design issue of the light setup in the bathroom. The switch is placed outside so every time you’d open a door the light would bother everyone laying on the bed. 😬

The hotel provided us with all expected amenities. On top there were some small but helpful and pleasant additions like bathrobes and a wine glass (strangely just one). I really appreciate the location which is central, close to the park, and all necessary shops are just 2 minutes of walking.

Book fair prices quite high, payment from booking.com did not go through (virtual credit card of booking.com not accepted by hotel), hotel staff asked me to pay again (although my credit card had been charged by booking.com already before). I refused to pay twice for the same room. Let's see how this continues...

Location excellent and quiet. Very central to everything in city centre. Lovely spacious room nicely divided between sleeping and sitting area. Tea/coffee making in room and dressing gown and slippers- little things that make a difference.
