Bar staff attitude many times was poor. Asked for some cocktails during happy hour and was rejected because "they were busy serving tables". Another time we had issues with getting food one hour before kitchen close because they had a large order early in the day. a 3rd issue we had with bringing drinks from outside when we asked for beer and they had ran out of german ones, offering only brit ones

great lively mood with a great lounge, to socialize, get a drink and do some bar sports. This is a great alternative to getting from the street and locking yourself in the room

There was no aircon in the room and the window only opened a fraction. It was SO HOT. It was a warm when I was there (28 degrees celcius) and the room felt warmer. Literally had a cold shower every morning and night to cool down. In the end it wasn't as unbearable as I thought it was going to be and I slept fine but if you struggle sleeping in hot temperatures - beware!

Great location for getting around. This was my first time in Berlin and felt very easy to go about and see the main sights. It's not a 'pretty' area but convenient and felt safe. The room was clean and all the girls were very quiet and respectful. The bed was comfortable enough and felt private as your head was covered. I was going to bed early/waking up early and basically never crossed paths with anyone as they were out or asleep. The breakfast was simple (muesli/yogurt/fruit/toast/bread/ham/cheese) but very convenient as there isn't much around the hostel other than sub-par cafes.

The internet connection. The wifi was not available everywhere and, when it was, it was very weak and kept cutting out. As there was little phone signal in the building, it basically meant you were in a dark spot for all internet.

Accommodation was not very clean, including stains on pillow and bed under sheet. Lock on our toilet door was almost broken and it felt like you’d be trapped in the toilet each time. Unfortunately, no AC which is mentioned in reviews but they could put fans in rooms. We opened windows but since we were on a main road, loud noise from cars often kept us awake and didn’t do much to cool us down. Doors also slam so can be woken up by people in the corridors.

Really nice bar area, making it social and easy to meet people. Had shuffleboards in the downstairs area and some events on each night.

There shuld be an strict policy of total silence in the corridors, i booked the hostel because i had an ealy Flught at 6 am and i culdnt sleep well because people was screaming at the corridor and talking loud all nigjt, i dont know how it culd be implemented but for me is a no no with the acomodation. The staff at the reception shuld let gests aware by the time they chek in that the corridors are strictly silent places and if they want to talk they shuld go to the bar. Privacy courtains shuld be instaled in every bunker bed down and up, also signs outside sinalizong that there is a personaleping there.

There's not enough space in the 6 bedroom dormitory. Hard to sleep when people check in at midnight. The window is right on the main street so there's a lot of noise coming from cars outside. The hostel doesn't supply towels so i couldn't even get a descent shower

The Bed did not have any curtains for privacy. They should have additional cupboards or wardrobes. They should provide free lockers for people coming earlier. At least for a couple of hours earlier for checkin.

You can hear everything going on in the corridors and all the doors slam themselves and make quite a noise (when it's not people chatting in the corridor at 3am). Got me awake a couple of times because of those issues.

Love the thoughtful beds with storage, charging and lights built-in. Super easy to self-check-in and a beautiful lobby to hang out at or have a breakfast at. The rooms and bathroom are spacious.

The shower seemed to have a little it of mildew/ mould on the tiles and ceiling. The floors and rooms were very hot and a little stuffy but only one window opened

Bathrooms were dirty and not private at all. It feels more like a pool shower where everyone showers together. There is no space to hang stuff in the cubicles so you're kind of forced to change naked with everyone else (including the people just there to brush their teeth). That felt pretty weird and is not expected even in a hostel. The showers and shower curtains were also just dirty and not pleasant to be in.

Beds were comfortable, rooms had big lockers for personal stuff. I liked that the rooms also had a sink and big mirror, as well as hooks to hang stuff. The bar on the ground floor is a nice place to sit if you want to get some work done, although it is a little small and gets busy often.

Not a very communal hostel vibe and rooms very small. No where to put bigger bags and no kitchen. Bunks were triple and couldn't sit up. Shower leaks all over floor and no bath mats provided
