Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There was no fridge in the room.
Location. 3 min to the U-bhan. 2 station to rathaus. Private parking near the hotel (with an entrance from garage directly into the hotel). Large parking space. Good breakfast. Large clean room.

We have stayed here countless times this 10 years, and we always love the breakfast here because it's a standard breakfast that we usually get in any decent hotel in Europe especially bacon and pancake (these are ours personal hangover cured but we also love them IRL). The problem is now they have removed them and offered sausages, beans and potatoes (english breakfast kind of style) instead and we’re never like them, so that's left us with only scrambled eggs or boil eggs to eat because the sausage is the only meat menu. Please consider bringing back the bacon, and Pancake or crepe would be nice.
Almost everything, especially the HDMI cable and screen share that make so easy to enjoy any show from your device. Staff are very friendly.

Nothing really.
Nice hotel away from the main centre but with a good plaza across the street for restaurants etc. Excellent underground parking, which was critical for our stay. Good German breakfast, as they often are.

The gym is in the top floor and you have really nice view while you can do cardio machines. But there is nothing else. Only a basic set of dump bells 2-10kg. That's it. Only Cardio.

Breakfast is not WoW comparing to the price (with the same price I had better breakfast somewhere else).
Had an underground parking for only 13 euro per night (reasonable price). The room are spacious and comfortable comparing to other hotels. Not so far from the center (10 minutes walk approximately). Friendly staff.

We chose the hotel because I said that it had a gym. But the so called "gym" was very poorly equiped and only had cardio machines and some light weights. We were disappointed ☹️

The air conditioner in our room made a loud knocking noise randomly at night that disturbed our sleep. It sounded like someone pounding on the door. The drains in the shower and sink were backed up - when running water they were slow to drain. Standing in backed up water in the shower was gross. Pity that the facilities have not been kept up properly with regular maintenance in an otherwise nice hotel. Another issue we had was with the cleaning staff. We were out of basic bathroom items in our room and they said they could not replace them and that we needed to talk to the front desk. Also the front desk was always busy with a long line.
We had a great view of the Marienplatz. Great location, close to restaurants and grocery store, and local transportation hub. Room was clean and spacious. Front desk staff was friendly. Fitness center is nice.
