Poor, fully digital, check-in process, no staff on premises, slow response to help messages, no sign indicating this is actually a pension. From the outside, the building looks quite questionable. Local Internet / 5G reception is poor, so check-in in advance. Inside it is very clean and well maintained. Large and very clean room. Good wifi, although you need a VPN to access all websites. There seems to be a filter in place. The shower ran out of hot water after 5 minutes. No safe storage place for a bicycle. Very quiet at night. Also a very smart no-shoes in the building policy keeping everything clean and quiet.

Leaving my shoes at the lobby, the radiators always went back to previous settings of 17 degrees Celsius, It was cold over the night.

Internet was good enough for what we, adults, would use it. My oldest complained that his game (roblox game) didn’t load fast enough to play together with a friend. And my husband wanted to watch the final episode of some Netflix series but also said he needed to adjust quality settings. Not sure if it was their devices or the internet but we only stayed a short night so definately not something we’d fall over in the future.

Easy online check in. Key to take whenever you arrive so also late at night. Now at Christmas very cosy decorated hallway (stairs). Very large room. Clean and everything you need is present. Beds and bedlinnen is clean, smells good and sleeps well. Very large bathroom for room 2 with shower and bath! Table with 4 chairs in the room. Shared and very clean kitchen in the hallway. Also a small fridge with drinks to buy with cash or app. Definately recommanded and we will return when visting to or from family in Denmark (we are from Belgium). We also found a great bakery in a town next to it. Their croissants and chocolate croissants taste great and you can buy fresh coffee there as well. It is called Fricke bakery in Horstedt (6 min drive from hotel).

The man who opened the door when we arrived , was not friendly and uninterested, but despite that he was willing to help. Check in is at 17.00 wich is very late, and check out is 10.00 wich is very early.

I found the cleaning staff to be very friendly and helpful, but I didn't find the owners to be very friendly. They never greeted us, even when (I believe) they walked right past us. And they were a bit slow to communicate via email, but they did respond after a few days.

Although no breakfast was served, we had access to a shared kitchen and this was so great. Especially travelling with kids, this made staying at Pension Ziemann very attractive. They also set up a pack n play for our baby. There was also good storage space in our room and bathroom (family room), which made staying there very comfortable.

I arrived late in the evening when it was already dark. The facility was a little difficult to find, as there seemed to be no sign. Also, no large supermarket was nearby, the closest was 15 min drive.

The facilities were great. Shared kitchen worked very nicely, comfortable bedroom, good bathroom, nice welcome by the owner. Hygiene was great. I was on a multi-day trip, and the location is nicely located along the highway for an overnight stop.

The parking was full of Polish working cars and vans, we did not have a space to park. They left early in the morning. The place is meant for working men and not for couples or families.

It's a cheap place to spend a night in a very quiet village.
