Was comfortable & clean with very little to complain about except for if you were in a room with fellow residents who snores all night long, but that is the luck of the draw & not down to the proprietor.

It's located in very nice part of the city (pretty safe at night) , close to everything you would probably want to visit. It was comfy and clean, very warm and welcoming stuff :) I would just recommend some bit of privacy like curtains on the beds maybe. All in all really good hostel, I would be back here since I make short visits to Berlin very often.

Good location, nice ambiance, amazing breakfast for a fair price. It’s a peaceful hostel with a good mix of visitors. We had a 4 person bedroom with attatched bathroom, supercalm and well equiped.

The weather :-)

Staff went extra mile to comfort my requests as much as it was possible. The location is great, close to Alexanderplatz and to supermarkets, a shopping centre is a 25 minute walk away, surrounded by every kind of restaurant you can imagine. Rather "family" like atmosphere than business driven attitude towards the guests. I did also like the diverse and inclusive choice of staff and made new friends. Please be assured that the customer service will accomodate each and every wish which is possible to apply to the house rules. Housekeeping cleans daily the rooms and it is so clean everywhere that you could eat from the floor - if you would find something lying around....

Hostel is located in the center. There is area Pfefferberg, where are restaurant Pfeffer and bars and behind it also Pfefferbett Hostel. Staff is friendly. I had normal room and quiet roommates. We slept with opened window and it was good and refreshing. Bathroom was just in next door, renovated and clean. First aid kit in bathroom if you have headache or some other health issues. I didn't have breakfast in Hostel but over the road was amazing cafe with good prices and fresh pastries. It was opened already 8 a.m, maybe even earlier. Everything was in walking distance, Alexanderplatz, Berlin Wall, Memorial of the Murdered Jews (with heartbreaking museum) and Berlin Underground ( Berliner Unterwelten)-tour with fantastic guide Martina.

I stayed at Pfefferbett for 9 nights, and I had a good experience. The staff were very polite and helpful and the ambience of the common areas was pleasant and lively. Though I wish there were curtains on our dorm beds, to allow a little better sense of privacy. A kitchen would have also helped, but it was manageable because of some budget restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. Overall the location of the hostel really makes up for any small discomfort. Metro and bus accessibility is super convenient, with various cute cafés and bars nearby.

I have no complaints whatsoever except for one thing - installing curtains for each bed would add more privacy and coziness when sleeping with strangers in one room.

Rooms are tidy, clean, everyone has lockers. The staff was indeed very friendly and helpful. The hostel itself was pretty quiet and in prefect location, which I loved. Good quality breakfast.

I liked the people working at the hostel, very easy going. The rooms were clean, and I really enjoyed my stay with the people in my dorm. The shower was great, and the neighborhood was nice as well. On the first level, there is a bathroom where I could change before going out, with mirrors and a quiet, nice place to change.

Nothing! I generally liked everything and enjoyed my stay. Only thing that I feel like maybe you need to know in advance is that they don't offer towels. I didn't mind that since I was prepared.

The rooms were quite clean and well maintained. Spacious enough for the number of people that were there. The room also had a private toilet and bathroom. The location is not that far from most attractions; about 20 to 30 minutes away from most things. Easily accessible by tram. The cleanliness was up to standards as well. Wifi worked well. The hostel offered breakfast, which was some sort of buffet setting, for around 10 euros. I would generally highly recommend this hostel.

We booked two bunk-beds in six-person room. We were the last to check-in so the only two vacant beds were next to the door. We were very tired after the flight so it did not bother much, although the door opens right in front of your face, especially when you sleep on the down bed.

We did not try breakfast but it looked good, especially with a nice addiction as chia seeds, nuts, ginger shots and rice porridge. The toilet in the room is definitely more comfy than on the floor. Located not too far from center with a U-station next to the hotel.
