Warm and helpful staff, the location is very good 👌🏻 Only the doors need a change, they are very hard and make a little too much noise, other than that everything is great, a place I will choose when I come again, thank you Pfefferbett team for everything!! :)

The toilet somehow overflows and flooded.

The staff are kind and accommodating, unlike the review that said the staff were rude. They have bar, breakfast, pool table and luggage storage. Location just across usenefelderplatz. Around it plenty of bar and restaurant. Shower and toilet inside the room and it is very clean. Bed comfortable, I slept like a baby.

Location was very good. public transport nearby and you could also walk. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The breakfast (+8 eur) was very good and “as much you can eat”. Good options for vegan 🌱

The place to stay in the middle of my favorite Prenzlauer Berg. The double room was spacy and the bed was big and comfortable. U Senefelderplatz metro station is just infront the Pfefferbett complex and Zionskirchplatz tram stop is 500 m. away. Many bars and coffehouses nearbay. EDEKA supermarket just 200 m. away. Last, but not least - the front desk guys were very cool and helpfull.

there wasnt any type of meat for breakfast

it is 10min walk from alexanderplatz. staff are very nice and are on property 24/7 so you always have someone for information. there is also a bar that is in the basement and a place for breakfast for 8 euros. check in is flawless and done on this 24/7 recepetion. i really enjoyed it and it is definetly worth to spend night here and not to spend money for somewhere else. I would recommend

The staff was so friendly and helpful! the lobby and facilities look modern and trendy. the lockers (big enough for my entire backpack) close with the room key card, so no noisy locks necessary. big window with a lot of natural light. each bed has a light, a socket and a little table to put your phone/book on. overall, i had a very good experience at pfefferbett hostel and would definitely recommend it!

In my opinion a the staff should speak English. But anyway all was perfect.

I was very much impressed with everything. Location is gorgeous, extremely close to the unserground station. Extremely cleaned, great shower, beds and room very good. I super recommend.

I did have a very bad experience just before I left the hoste this time. I asked for hot water in the afternoon(at about 2-3pm 26th September) and a staff showed me how to get hot water from a machine which they use to serve juice, coffee and hot water for breakfast. I was very surprised and felt happy for this improvement. However, when I was getting hot water from that machine at about 5-6pm on 26th September before I rushed to the airport, the girl who worked at the reception at that time shouted at me "You can not do that. It is only for breakfast". I was so sacred because she was so loud and all the other people in the lounge looked at me weirdly. I tried to explain and tell her that someone told me to get hot water from here today. But she stopped me even before I finished my words. She even did not apologize and just said very coldly, unpolitely and rudely "Then enjoy your hot water". I could feel that she was not in a good mood. But in my opinion, you work as a receptionist in a hostel, and that is your job. You can not shout at others when you are not in a good mood, right? This is really a very bad experience I have ever got from a hostel after traveling for more than 50 countries. And that girl is tall, slim and quite beautiful. I guess she is German. But for her atttitude, I will absolutely give her a 0 or -10 which means, she is not a professional person to work in a hostel, where people normally are friendly.
