Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

However, there was no hair conditioner and slippers.
Overall, the room was good – spacious and clean. Drinks at the bar were free. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, and there was something new every day.

The bathroom looked a bit mouldy and poorly ventilated.
One night stay was alright for me and my pet. The stuff was very polite and helpful. The room was spacious and cozy and the breakfast was great.

Matrace :( matrace was I think really old and laid doen heavily…even springs you can feel). Probably only my room hope so
Location was good and the breakfast was not rich, but suficient. Good coffee by the way. Room was big enough and it was warm. I put radiators on scale 1 and still it was very warm beside that on the street it was -5/ -8 Free minibar (2 beers and 2 soft drinks) was also very nice from hote side. Small things make great friendship

No thermostat in the rooms however, so needed to balance the radiator heat by opening windows.
Very convenient location. 15 min walk from Rosenheimerplatz where you can get the SBahn to the airport. Nice park opposite to walk into the old town, takes about 25 mins. Good continental breakfast, very pleasant staff.

There's nothing to grumble about!
There wasn't tea making facilities in the room upon arrival, just asked at reception and was handed a tray with all the tea and coffee you would want and that important kettle. The room was spacious and clean, and there was plenty of hot water for showers-baths. The bed was comfortable, and the room was warm. Breakfast was plentiful and was very nice.

Breakfast was good quality but very basic (not that many choices). WiFi was working on-and-off.
Location was okay, close to the river which was nice to visit in the morning. Staff was friendly and helpful at all hours of the day.

The room was a bit outdated but clean. The bathroom also needs an upgrade. We happened to get a room on the first floor overlooking the street. It had a great view towards the city centre, but blinding curtains could not hide the street lamp glow during the night.
The staff was very welcoming and helpful directing us and suggesting good restaurants around. The room was spacious and the breakfast was good. It is a very quiet neighborhood. The hotel has an underground parking on additional cost.

Onsite parking was very expensive. Housekeeping a bit random. Lack of access to yea or coffee maker ng facilities. If not in the room then have available in a community n area (eg. Norwegians have it available free to hotel guests at all hours).
Staff were friendly and helpful especially young Ukrainian man. Good location and an easy walk to Marienplatz Christmas Market. Quiet location. Hotel bar for a quiet unwind and day's end.

No 24hr reception cover.
Very comfortable, clean, spacious room. Recently refurbished. Lovely hotel location in nice quiet area close to the Deutsche Museum. Easy transport access to the rest of the city. Good breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff.

Some updating of shower and curtains needed but otherwise spacious comfortable room with plenty of wardrobe space. Tea and coffee making facility in room would have been much appreciated.

Slightly old style room furniture, but is generally fully ok, it would be nice to improve pillows.

coffee machine in the restaurant was having some issues.
The staff were very pleasant and the room comfortable. perhaps some coffee making facilities in the room as standard would help improve the overall experience , though, when we requested some at reception they were quick to provide.

We had one soap bar for 2 people for 7 days. Ideally, it would be nice also to have bedding change once in a week (probably should ask).
The location is fantastic - very quite and not far from subway. Mostly residential area with traditional restaurant in walking distance
