I personally don’t like bathrooms with sliding glass doors that stand off the wall by 5-10cms. This does not provide privacy for anyone. It is used as a space saving solution which ultimately means that the room is relatively compact. I can perfectly understand why it is used but for me this is a small negative. Nice to have a clothes cupbaord with sufficient coat hangers.. a rare find these days 😎

Did not sleep too well, got eaten by mosquitoes: No air condition for the room, but the air condition noise outside the window. Moskito nets in the windows with gaps and no net at all in the bathroom.

Pretty new and modern - nice shower. Close to the beach, good breakfast and coffee.

Poor internet speed, sliding glass door to the bathroom doesn't provide the privacy needed during obvious actions. Breakfast (only vegan which was good for me) was delicious but amount of available food was modest. Once people before us ate finished the plate, it was not refilled and there was nothing left for the next people.

Beautiful localization, near the lake. Amazing view from the balcony on the lake and mountains in the background. Cozy room, looks fresh and clean.

Unfortunately the absolute no-go for me was the bathroom which was not 100% clean.. Stains in the toilet and an undefined hear in the sink, that’s not ok..

Yes, the hotel is very well located in a quiet area at the lakefront, with the pier for the ferry in front of the door, free parking space at 100 meters and some nice restaurants nearby. And yes, the staff of the hotel’s tavern is superfriendly, the breakfast buffet is more than complete and a heaven for veggie lovers, and they also have some nice wines on the menu.. But, it’s a no nonsense budget hotel, no more no less.. There’s no reception desk, you’ll get the code for the keysafe in a message on your phone, the rooms are nice but they just offer basic comfort, and I’m ok with that if it wasn’t way overpriced..

Everything about QC Hotel Quartier Chiemsee is much more than any expectation.The room is wonderful, the view is magnificent, everywhere and everything is very clean, the quality of the materials is very high, for example the hand soap is from the L'occitane brand. About breakfast , the open buffet is full of wonderful foods: cheeses, olives, fresh vegetables, homemade jams and marmalades, homemade cakes, muesli.

I booked it on booking, arrived at 11pm and didn't get in the hotel. And only got paid back when I called booking office , hotel didnt answer on my messages, when I asked about refund.

Hospitality seems to be unknown for the management of this hotel. Even though no public transport was available due to heavy snowfall, the hotel refused to accept cancellation or to even just keep the room reserved for a late arrival the next day. The room itself was far away from the pictures here. It was actually three little rooms (which could have been nice), which felt like being a storage for IKEA furniture - soulless and missing the warmth that pictures of the hotel suggested. The walls, especially next to the bed are very dirty and show blood marks of seemingly old wars of former guests against mosquitoes. Truly ugly. The first time ever I went to a hotel where they would even charge for the tea bags provided. As a vegan, I was looking forward to breakfast. Unfortunately, if you are not right at 8am down there, not many options will be available for you - again, just another sign of pure profit thinking. The missing care also showed in the unability to make the entry area safe. This is a slight slope down and quickly became one icy super slippery chute. Several guests asked to make this safe - nothing. The lack of hospitality and care for the wellbeing of guests was truly putting off on all accounts.

Very good location at the lake. The guy at the restaurant was lovely and kind - the only ray of sunshine at this place.

We liked everything and small things like parking 25 meters from the hotel didn’t bother us.

New building, new rooms and furniture, very stylish and modern. Close to the lake and beach. Great details about self checkin and vegan breakfast in the morning. Lovely place.

We had a fantastic stay with our dog at the QC hotel Quartier Chiemsee! The room was very comfortable, clean and the view on Chiemsee was magnificent! We really enjoyed the delicious healthy breakfast and the friendly staff.

Our room was modern, clean and comfortable. The hotel was right across from the beach. The restaurant next door was very convenient. The breakfast that was included in the price was amazing. My husband and I have been cycling across Europe for 8 weeks and this was the best breakfast we’ve had. Lena, our host, was amazing. Check-in was digital but when we arrived there was someone there to let us in.

It would have been nice to get breakfast a little earlier.

Right on the lake shore with lovely views. Room was large and very clean. The self check-in and out was real easy. Unfortunately we had a room on the wrong side without a patio so we didn't get the benefit of the full view. Breakfast was really good with some different items than what we've seen elsewhere.
