Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We selected this hotel, in part because it has a restaurant which we wanted for an evening meal after a long drive. We were told the restaurant closes at weekends (thank God the bar was open!). It’s annoying that this information was not provided when selecting/booking the restaurant (through Booking.com). Come on people!! Not a big deal to keep things up to date - digital age etc?!
Lovely greeting from the Receptionist, Antonia, who explained all we needed to know. She also speaks excellent English. Overall, hotel was very clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast

The pillows were terrible and the receptionist didn't smile.
The rooms were clean and comfortable. I loved that we could open the windows for fresh air. There was tea in the room.

The hotel didn’t seem to have food running on the night we arrived and therefore we had to try and get food in the town. The parking in town was a nightmare. All in all not great
The hotel is comfortable and close to the main road. There is good parking and a good breakfast

A bit outdated room decoration.
Good location, close to the motorway, there is a supermarket nearby. Decent variety of food at the breakfast. Using of sauna included in room price. Room and bedlinen very clean. Two ladies at the reception friendly and knowledgeable.

Unfortunately, but there is no restaurant at place. Luckily with long walk (1 km) or short ride, you can find restaurants. I also arrived during winter time in very low temperatures outside. It might be little fuss from my side, but when I arrived it was extremely cold in the room. Naturally I opened radiators, but before it got comfortable in the room, it took couple of hours. Apparatenly room wasn`t used for many days, and it got really cold. But in most of my trips, I noticed that staff is opening radiators and warming up room in such case before guest arrival. Also bedclothes didn`t feel fresh, but it could`ve been caused by low temperatures in the room for many days.
Location very suitable for travelling people, very close to a highway. Free parking in front of a hotel, no worries about missing space. Rooms are also quite comfy and decorated in a modern style. Advantage is a nice big desk if you would like to work.

The internet connection could have been stronger, and the hairdryer overheated very quickly. It was difficult to dry long hair efficiently.
Very friendly and helpful staff, nice loft rooms, cleanliness and comfort.

Tucked away up a light industrial area. They do not serve dinner but recommend various places to eat. We ate at the football club opposite where English is spoken and were made very welcome.
Modern building with good room facilities. Within 2 miles from the Autobahn. Breakfast is self service style and is good and plentiful.

the walls seemed thin and so noises from next door and the aisles were clearly recognizable inside; the location next to a car dealer is not "romantic"; breakfast was OK, but nothing to make me smile
staff were very friendly, room was clean, good bed; I got a room on floor 3 which meant it was further away from bar, reception, ... and quiet in that sense

Restaurant is open only for breakfast, closed in the evening, so you have to look somewhere else if you want some food. There is a Sport Pub opposite , serving a traditional German food like schnitzels which are delicious and portions are massive. It was a life saver after all day on a road.
Good transition hotel, close to A2. Very good breakfast, lots to choose from .

We arrived at 9.30pm but there was no restaurant or bar open until the receptionist kindly ordered pizza delivery and was persuaded to serve from the bar - there were a number of people in the same situation as us.

There wasn't anything I didn't like about the hotel, I had to travel to get dinner as there isn't much in close walking distance to eat
