Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

RomaniaCouldn't figure out the ac/heating system, which kept auto-turning on, cooling the room up to the point where it was too cold (during early spring time). The staff offered to change the room, although we didn't change it because it would have been too much trouble for our short stay and the midnight hour when we encountered this issue. No good view, it didn't bother us, just thought I should mention it. It's an area full of hotels, no trees or green spaces.
Super clean. Nice staff Quite close to the center. Loved the fact that it was noise free, even the walls and the door of the bathroom were this way. Felt safe with the card access to the hotel at night/to use the elevator.

United KingdomLocation was good very close. Wouldn’t recommend if you have mobility issues as you did have to walk down a cobbely street and across tram lines to get there.
Clean modern nicely decorated. Enormous bed. Free fruit snacks and drinks at reception. Nice bar but very quiet. We went for the Christmas markets but was strangely very quiet Location ok - close to the station which has everything you need from pharmacy to shops and bakery. 15 min from Leipzig centre. Red bull Leipzig stadium 10 mins on tram from station

GermanyThe TV was smart where you can chrome cast etc. would be amazing if you could order room service from the TV too. The room heating was not much. The max temperature only goes to 23 degrees Celsius. The supplements such as coffee and were lacking.. only one sugar sachet and one chocolate milk sachet.
It’s modern… you have most of it that you need at your finger tips.

TurkeyThe only thing is the housekeeping’s visiting time. I had to report it several times to the reception, which stole my time as I was there for holiday, to travel, to enjoy my time. The female receptionist with blond hair needs to improve her communication style when speaking to the guest. She can try to be polite and formal, instead of hostile, when listening to the guest for a problem. The staff is, in general, good. Especially Mr.Ahmed is a real professional. Thanks to him, my stay was really good.
I liked everything related to the room. The breakfast was incredible, with high-tech solutions to drinks. The room was spacious and furnished with high-quality things.

NetherlandsA password for wifi access is a must these days. I didn't use it because the network is not protected. This is a huge minus but what I sadly see in 9 of the 10 hotels I visit. The electric charging station in the garage requires some kind of pass. No way I can charge my car otherwise. This is a huge minus too. For future layout: I'd place the ticket machine next to the entrance of the hotel but I guess the parking is shared with apartments on the back and they got priority. It was not clear whether parking just outside the hotel is free or not (we didn't see any parking machine and there were cars parked already and it's holiday season) - staff couldn't give a satisfying answer as well.
First and foremost is cleanliness. If I can walk barefoot freely and sit on the toilet without being afraid to get a disease, then the hotel and staff have done a great job. The designers in choosing materials and colors to make us feel this way and the staff to keep it clean. The garage beneath the hotel with elevator access straight to your floor is convenient. In and out the garage with license plate recognition adds to comfort as well. I also love the USB 3/C charging facility next to our bed. Complimentary infused water, fruits and bread snacks is the cherry on top.
