Location is great, next to Planten un Blumen-park and Dammtor station. City center is within walking distance. The room was nice and beds comfortable, pictures of the room are realistic.

Everything was basically perfect until one lady (she was bussing the tables) tired to rush me out of the dining room at exactly 10:30 while I was still finishing my coffee and my wife was grabbing a bit of fruit to top off an otherwise excellent breakfast. We were left alone to finish our meal afterward, but it did unfortunately put a little negative vibe on an otherwise perfect stay.

Perfect location, wonderful view, everything was very clean and in good repair. Most all of the staff was friendly and helpful. A beautiful view of the city and the Planten un Blomen park. Convenient parking which the hotel validated to make it quite cheaper than standard city parking prices.

The only issue was the screen around the shower. It let a little water out, so we sometimes had to sacrifice a towel to mop it up.

Fantastic room, spacious, large and comfortable bed, coffee machine is always a great bonus! The view was great too. Almost no complaints - we were very happy with it.

We are doing a road trip through northern Europe and have stayed in a number of hotels, this was the first hotel where we came across a member of the Reception staff who was curt to the point of rudeness. I would like to add that the staff we saw in the morning were very pleasant and efficient. In addition to this, service at the restaurant was extremely slow.

It was noisy and they seem to be music playing from somewhere til after midnight. Also the shower rail was very loose and I was worried it was going to fall off the wall. would’ve been useful to have a paper menu or instructions in how to use TV how to book food as if you’re not technically minded or do not have a smart phone you’ll find things very very difficult. A few more complimentary gifts would be nice like a couple of biscuits to help with your tea and coffee.

They can improve the dinner menu and portions. The main course had no side dishes, so they had to be ordered separately.

I travelled with my husband and 14-year-old daughter. And it was the first time we had travelled without a hotel reservation due to last-minute arrangements. Guess what? It proved to be one of the nicest stays. Thanks to Thorsten, the manager on duty, was fantastic. The hotel was almost completely booked due to UEFA EURO 2024, and Thorsten exceeded our expectations. There are lessons to be learned from service industry professionals who take their brands to the next level. We enjoyed their breakfast, which included a fantastic spread. The train station is conveniently located near the hotel, as is the popular botanical garden.

The coffee maker in the room is a bit old style, kettle with instant coffee (superior room). Long queues at the reception desks. The parking deck is in disarray and tiny parking boxes for those that were not taken out of service. All electric car wallboxes were out of service. Requests sent to the Hotel ahead of time stood unanswered while at the same time I received repeated notification (5!!) I should not bring my kids into the room (my kids are adults and were not traveling with us), unless ordering a crib for extra cost.

The location is great, the view from the room was great.
