Breakfast was great with eggs to order. The location was close to sites and city center, with taxis and uber readily available. The rooms were moder, spacious, comfortable and clean. I asked for early check out and was initially told they may not be able to accomodate, but upon arrival all 3 rooms for our group were ready at 9am.

A/C was either none-functional or underpowered making the room very warm even though it was only low 20s (celcius) outside. The thick covers would've been great in winter, but were unbearably hot at this time of year, especially with the bad A/C. Had to sleep with the window open to cool the room down to a manageable temperature but the city is quite noisy so if you're a light sleeper that would not have been ideal. And one minor gripe: the parking facility underneath the hotel is not only NOT free for guests it is, in my opinion, actually quite expensive at 40 euros for 2 days.

staff is very friendly and the service in the lounge bar is great! The prices for drinks and food are pretty reasonable too. Loved the location, it's a 5 minute walk (if that) to the events hall and public transit. The breakfast buffet was delicious with plenty of options. The room (and hotel in general) was very clean, modern, and well maintained.

Having stayed already several times at this very hotel, I am always pleased to come back - and the next booking is already done! It is my preferred hotel in the area around the Messe. I enjoy the size of the room, especially the very large working desk, but also the set-up of the room, the nice bathroom and how everything is furnished, but also decorated with a local touch of Cologne.
