They local staff put extra effort to effectively solve a difficult situation, apparently created by the online booking system, in the shortest possible time. The location near the freeway makes of the hotl a very easy stop on a long N-S journey.

Very friendly and superb welcome, very helpful staff. Knowledgeable and very happy to give us plenty of time and help at check in. Room was spacious and very clean. Great facilities, including a nice gym and sauna. Breakfast was spot on. I loved the fresh pancake machine (a little too much!)

For a 4stars, I had expected more. The superior room I stayed in was very Basic like an bigger sized standard room. The water from the shower coundn‘t maintain warm; it went sudenly very cold and then very hot. The room design was nothing special for a superior room at a 4 Stars rated. I still leave a „very good“ rating because it was still fine just that I had expected more for the Price Tag and the Rating.

The Location of the Hotel is well removed from the Hügels and bustles. So really nice to relaxed. The general atmosphere in the Hotel was easy going and comfortable. One probably will need to Book a shuttle drive unless driving with personal ride.

Just one single charger for E.V. honestly for such a big parking space and not cheap to park is unacceptable. Breakfast pretty expensive for the quality of food (fresh orange juice missing, omelet would be nice to have).

The parking fee is extreme - 17e for the night. The stay itself is very reasonably priced given the quality of everything, but the parking fee should be considered as many will likely arrive by car given the hotel's ideal location for long road trips. A minor complaint is that the bathroom has some design issue which may result in partially flooded bathroom floor though the floor drain while showering in the bath tube.

The rooms are well equipped, well designed and in general the premises are very nice. Staff is welcoming. The parking lot feels safe and there were many free spaces to choose from. Easy to recommend this place for a night while traveling on the highway. Will come again later.

Difficulty to heat the room up. One small radiator that struggled to cope with the wintery weather. My wife ate in the restaurant in the evening and found it disappointing food barely hot and probably reheated.

The hotel feels quite dated, the rooms would deserve a renovation (mainly the bathrooms) The windows aren't very well isolated, you could still hear the highway The parking is overpriced, considering the parking lot is quite big (would be nice if it was included in the room price) Only one EV charger for such a large hotel - occupied all the time The breakfast smorgasbord could have more variety The staff (apart from the front desk) could only speak German

Parking is way too expensive given there is no alternative. Likewise restaurant prices are too high for the quality offered and there is no alternative nearby. Good room prices are attracting guests, offset by high parking and food prices. Bathroom was old, smelly and flooded when showering.

Very friendly staff at reception and bar bistro, convenient location for stop-over next to highway, comfortable bed.

Not the hotel's fault, but the taxi into Ettlingen (10 minute ride) took long to arrive and was very expensive, as it had to come from nearby Karlsruhe. Staff were mixed. Some were very friendly and polite, others seemed a bit stressed or robotic.

Comfortable bed, good breakfast, convenient location close to the motorway. Free coffee, water and candies at reception. Decent sized room. Pleasant views.

Restaurant overpriced for bought in poor quality frozen food reheated, which is shocking! See the Tirimusu picture below that alone was 14 euros! Menu attached too Other picture is the special of day, reheated frozen potato, packet sauce, bought in sliced meat….very poor indeed.

Good parking area although they charge you extra for the privilege of parking! But because it’s side of motorway everyone got to arrive by car, so it’s huge money maker!
