Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content

- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The pillows were very floppy and the bathroom was in a very tight space with the toilet squished in by the shower.
We were happy that we could easily walk to the central station and to the Marienplatz downtown. The hotel has a relaxed, fun vibe and a nice bar and breakfast. The roof terrace is nice.

The restroom didn’t really have a door so if you’re not traveling with your partner it might cause difficulties :)

Nice restaurants around the hotel, decoration and pictures in the hotel are quite modern. The view from the room in the 6th floor was beautiful.

We felt the room was a bit too small for us.
Ruby Lilly is very nice and modern. We liked the atmosphere of the hotel and the staff is very nice and supportive. The location is super with tram just outside the door and some interesting and good restaurants in the surroundings

Bed was a smidge uncomfy but that might also be my back Hard to poop while someone else is showering because of the glass wall separation

The room was a little smaller than I hoped for.
Great staff and very helpful! Nice bar and drinks and a pretty bedroom! Good location near the central station. Every floor has a station with free coffee and tea and a vending machine which is a nice touch !

The room lay out was a bit difficult as you had to skirt around the bed without scraping your shins! I didn't like the double bed with two single downies - not sure what that was about. It was a first for me! The menu for dinner was limited and i was told that for breakfast, I could only have either a croissant or else the full brunch menu. There was no menu to choose from which was disappointing. This stopped us from spending more time in the bar unfortunately.
The whole hotel vibe was fantastic - great decor and a really chill feeling. Loved my bright room with long windows and funky decor. The reception/bar area was really inviting and just the right, cool atmosphere for an apero... Good location, a little further outside the noise and bustle of the town centre but still within easy walking distance.

The beds are comfortable for sleeping, but due to the cool design this might be a little difficult to get into it and out of it. Especially if you are a little older or less mobile.
Nice design hotel in Munich center. Very easy to reach by metro.The hotel bar is so nice and fancy that a lot of nice people us it to drink good cocktails and nice coffees. Very easy to check in for German standards. Great personnel! The design of the room is super original and cool!

I loved my stay at Ruby Lilly. Coming back tired from meetings in Munich the hotel was in a superb location. 5 mins walk from the hauptbahnhof. The room might be a bit small but so are mostly rooms in Munich. It was very clean room and the stuff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was nice and in the evenings you can enjoy a nice cocktail at the bar.

Wish the rooms had better storage options like a coat hanger. Takes some getting used to entering the shower through the toilet.
Great staff, very friendly. Quick and easy check in and check out. Situated really nicely close to the central train station without being in a shady neighborhood. Rooms are nice and beds comfortable.
