The showers had a glass wall directly towards the rest of the room, which we were unable to cover. If you are not a couple staying in the room it is a bit awkward to shower there. A curtain to cover the area would be highly appreciated for next time.

the mattresses a little hard. first time coming into my room the mirror was not clean (bathroom) and the shower door had major calk/ drop visibility. Glass should be totally clear and clean. Didn't know what all the buttons were for the toilett...?!

The so called self check in. First, let's face it. The owner has saved some penny by outsourcing the task of the recepcionist to the guest itself. The guest is doing the job that recepcionist does in other hotels. Second, the program itself is a disaster. So clumsy and unintuitive.. One has to type in things other hotels can get from the reservation, but here for some unknown reason they cannot. The interface is so annoying and soon drives the guest to type in whatever..just to get over it asap. This is not smart in no way. The cheapest IT solution one could find? Third, this way the very first impression is ruined. Strange strategy. Rooms are small. Smaller than you expect. And there are hundreds of examples out there how to organise small rooms. This is not the best example. To get from the reception to the WC one has to go through 6 (!) doors. Really?! Matrace in our room was long since beeing crying to change it. Strange sounds from hallway. Sound isolation not great. Result - intentions are good and stylish, but it is so obvious that the investor is so eager to get back his investment by saving on labour, IT, designers and matraces... At the end it feels like a very budget hotel which it definetly is not meant to be. It feels like shopping at AliExpress like places... Overall - disapointment.

Location is great. Canal view. Building itself looks good. I liked elements of style. No doubt, it is stylish and modern. A lot of nice and stylish places in area to have breakfast. More interesting and noticable cheaper than hotel itself. A lot of exotic tv channels. In a way - interesting. Heating works well.

The sink and shower are in the middle of the room. If you‘re not staying with your partner, this is definitely a no go because you don’t have any privacy. I honestly don‘t get the idea behind these concepts… It seems to be more and more hotels are integrating these “modern” designs which are not practical and they don’t make sense to me.

The location of the hotel is excellent - just a short walk to the S-Bahn stop Stadthausbrücke and to the city center (Jungfernstieg). The interior design of the lobby is modern and appealing.

The floors were a little worn and the bed was a bit hard, but that’s all!

The location was amazing. I had such an easy time getting to and from the airport via the S1 train, and it was within walking distance to many points of interest during my trip. The downstairs bar was very cozy and comfy and I received a drink voucher when I declined room cleaning during my stay, (no problem since I was only there a few days!) The room was just the right size for me and I loved the shower with the rainfall shower head.

Bit of a rabbit warren but you soon get used to it.

Amazing location. Excellent breakfast bar. Basic room is a touch small but well appointed, clean and quiet. Staff were excellent. Would certainly recommend and stay there again.

I was missing a little bit of the 'polish' that is necessary nowadays irrespective of how fresh / quirky your design is ... couldn't help but be left with the feeling that 'something was missing'. That may, however, just be me.

OK value, clean and quirky / fresh design approach (that may take itself a little too seriously -- it's hard to force 'cool' / feel authentic). Would nevertheless fall into my consideration-set again. I will say that the sheets were dynamite.

Self- Check-in is great, but if 3 people in the reception are not doing anything at the moment, I do not believe it is necessary to do the check-in alone

The location is superb! Less than 3 mins from the underground and less than 5 mins from the Town Hall square and shopping areas The staff were all excellent. Loved the quirky decor of the bar area

We stayed for 2 nights and our room was not cleaned even once! The pillows were not comfortable by our standards, so we did not feel well rested in the morning.

The hotel's location is excellent, in the very center. The common areas are well-kept and the hotel staff was very nice and helpful.

The room was small and not very welcoming.

The room was very small, somewhat like a module, with the bed built into the structure of the room. The bathroom was also a part of the room, rather than a separate room of its own. However, everything necessary was included and it was perfectly fine for a short stay. We did not eat at the hotel but the bar was lively with good service.

Glass pane window for shower in open plan room - a bit "exposed" 😅

Really nice vibe to the hotel and welcoming staff! Room size is great, very spacious - amenities modern and well equipped. Great location, walking distance to centre and port within 10minutes.
