Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Beautiful hotel, located justin front of the station and right in the city centre with easy acces to shops and resturants. The hotel is in art deco style, the room has a unique design, is incredibily spacious and confortable.

Brilliant location. Large comfortable room, quiet and very clean. Excellent breakfast, really worth the money (unlike many other places) - huge choice of hot, cold, sweet and savoury dishes. Very warm atmosphere and efficient service. Would stay there in a heartbeat.

Good quality spacious rooms. Excellent breakfast with good choices. Restaurant was superb. Staff friendly. The hotel was near the central station and the city centre so well located for sightseeing and journeys further afield. We would stay here again

The pillows and bed were a bit too soft for my taste. Although the toilet was separated, the shower was in the middle of the room, right next to the entrance, and offered no privacy.
Perfect location, everything was clean, huge room and good choice of food at the breakfast buffet

Everyone were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant at the hotel was closed, but the food in the lounge was excellent! Breakfast was good too.

Best Breakfast in Germany! I love the breakfast at this hotel, there is such a variety on offer, including fresh oranges to make your own freshly squeezed orange juice and a wafflemaker waiting for you to simply pour the batter in. The only place I ever eat waffles! the beds are comfortable, the linen very nice, the carpets under foot soothing after walking around town too much and the bathtub spacious and relaxing after a long day.

Great location across station and in mids of old town. Big rooms. Bit old looking but comfy, clean, all amenities, fridge and you can ask for a kettle. Has a restaurant, bar, lounge. Really nice.

The only thing I missed, was a coffee machine in the room.
Very friendly staff at the reception, bar and breakfast buffet. Location is amazing as well.

In overall, experience is good, however, the room was facing the train station and we were unable to open window during the night as it was too noisy. Also, nearby parking facility is insanely expensive and hotel does not offer reduced rate, instead they suggest to use parking garage in adjacent block (what causes you to carry your luggage for few hundred meters).
We stay in Leipzig regularly on our way to/from Austria, and normally take different hotel which was not available this time.

Late at night some of the staff had put a closed sign in front of the main exit and entrance that I didn’t see, and moaned when I accidentally tried to use it.
The location is incredible in terms of being yards from the train station, and the room was big.

It was Christmas time and the breakfast room was a bit too full of of older people who were sneezing and coughing right on top of each other. I know it's not presently a lock down, but it would be nice if they assured us they had strong air filtration, and maybe if they encouraged people who were coughing to have breakfast in their rooms, not at a buffet!
This is a fantastic location and a beautifully quiet and well proportioned room, with a nice desk so it's easy to work and sleep and see the city. I recommend it to anyone touring this part of Germany. It is right by the train station so you can use public transport to get anywhere else in Leipzig, or just walk to e.g. the christmas market. The breakfast room has this fantastic old train theme thing. There's great art deco everywhere.

I wish the water in the jacuzzi had been a little bit hotter. It was a cold night and the extra warmth would have been nice- but it was fine.
The hotel is very conveniently located - very close to the main train station and tram lines. The staff were friendly and helpful; the room was clean and well equipped; the coffee machine worked well and had excellent Illy coffee. The spa area was nice with a sauna and jacuzzi/hot tub. They allowed us to store our bags after check out, so we could explore more of the city and we picked them up just before heading back to the train station.
