Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyNothing big... just little things... At the dinner in their restaurant, my husband and my friend wanted to both order the 5 dish surprise meal. The instructions at the beginning of the menu tells you that each person should order 3-4 dishes, so they believed it would be a great option. When they went to order the 5 dish surprise menu, they were told that the menus are planned to be shared between two people. The instrustions were conflicting, so we just assumed that each person would receive 5 smaller items from the menu, we were wrong. It was really only 5 items, split between two people... one of them being a very large hungry man. It was a surprise menu and the staff didn't tell them what they were eating, only that one was vegetarian and the other had meat. The dishes were beautiful, but it was not something that you just knew what you were eating. So the entire evening, they had no idea was was before them and my husband went to bed very hungry. When we checked in we didn't receive any information on how the hotel worked. We were told where the restaurant, our room, the garage and the bar were located, but not the times that breakfast would be served or that we had to sign up for a time for breakfast in advance. We also did not know that it was paid parking. All of this information we got from our friends who had arrived before us and had someone else checking them in.
We really enjoyed our stay with at the hotel. It took us a bit to get into the grove of how things worked, but after that, it was great. My husband and friend used the workout room that was offered, so that was nice. Our room was also large enough for me to do yoga comfortably. We ate at the restaurant for dinner the first evening and that was a very interesting experience. The food was delicious. The location is a dream!!! The view from the breakfast room is amazing!!!

ItalyVery beautiful hotel, excellent food (small portions). The only thing i would recommend to change or just implement in the room price would be the parking fee. I get the idea but i think most of the bed reviews could have been avoided by just not charging 1 euro per hour for parking (for a hotel guest). If you really rely on the parking income I would just implement it in the room price.(larger rooms/suites could be more expensive but could come with a garage spot). In order to free up parking space in front of the reception area. But overall a really nice hotel great location, great spa area, food was delicious and the park really lets you forget the day to day stress.

SwitzerlandA bit sterile, maybe lacking the personal touch. Annoying (and expensive) Parking system making every drive out annoying.
Large, modern, clean rooms and no noise, good sauna and decent gym. Directly on the lake with lake view (building Helene). The walk to Friedrichshafen along the lake is nice.

DenmarkThe only surprising thing is that the property charges guests 1 Euro per hour for parking. I would have expected parking to be free.
Amazing new hotel, beautiful and thoughtful design that integrates well into the landscape. The prices were affordable. Spa area is wonderful, breakfast was also good. A very zen place to be, perfect for quiet relaxing stays. Will definitely come back and recommend to everyone.

AustraliaSome coffee in the rooms and a mini fridge would be nice! Parking will also get a bit expensive if staying more than a night.
Stunning landscape views and beautiful room. The view over the lake was amazing and the room was full of excellent design choices. Bed was extremely comfortable and the decor was genuinely calming. Full of natural wood and warm tones to compliment the surrounding scenery.

GermanyWhile the room amenities were good, they could be slightly improved to enhance the experience: - Adding a small fridge, a desk mirror, hair conditioner, hand cream, and slippers would be a great addition. - The TV lacked streaming options or AirPlay functionality. - The tea station didn’t have a nearby power outlet. The kettle should be moved to use it. - It would also be nice if the hotel offered the option to book massages for two people at the same time instead of only one after the other.
The room was very clean, well-heated (perfect for a December stay), and furnished with good-quality amenities. The restaurant was excellent, offering delicious food and great service.

GermanyParking has to be paid separately on the premises. Slippers can’t be rented but have to be bought (hence sustainability) if you don’t bring your own ones- they just did not have any in stock when we were there. You can‘t change the temperature of the room. And we felt like you have to be „lucky“ with the staff… one staff member explaines everything in detail very nice and the next one just gives you the keys to your room with the basic information. Same with the Restaurant. For that price a bit sad. I feel like you shouldn’t have to ask.. a quick „have you ever been here would you like a little summary“ is always a nice way to start. We found our way around anyways and enjoyed the stay a lot!
Food and Locations are very nice. Clean rooms, nice resting area next to the Saunas, exceptionally good Restaurant. Rooms are also very beautiful.- loved the style and minimalistic look. Nice, bright and quiet area. You can really tell there is a nice concept behind it all and the attention to detail was very lovely. We loved the tea selection and snacks in the Spa area as well. Those small details were very nice. We also loved their look on sustainability. Always good to see how hotels incorporate this nowadays.

SwitzerlandUnfortunately, there is no way of regulating the heat in the room, which got confirmed at reception. While it was really nice and cosy during the day, there should be a possibility to turn down the heat during the night. We slept with the balcony door wide open whilst the heating was running at full power. Not the most ecological way, especially since it's a brand new hotel.
Very spacious room. Very quiet. Comfy beds. Served breakfast with a great breakfast menu!

SwitzerlandRegarding wellness facilities, there is sauna and fitness room. The sauna is though open only from 14, so you can’t use it in the morning. That’s a pity.
Beautifully located and decorated hotel, one can really rest surrounded with tasteful and functional design. The restaurant in the hotel area, Pinus, offers great cuisine as well.

PolandI would change the portions of meals for breakfast or change a concept of breakfast for a la carte bit maybe a set of breakfast so that you could enjoy bigger selection of food in the morning. It would be great if there was a swimming pool.
Very modern and chic hotel close do Friedrichshafen. Restaurant offer variety of choice. Big rooms with balcony.Breakfast a la carte, which is great concept-no wase of food ,but the meals are small so you need to order more than one dish to have a variety and be full. There is a nice bar at the reception with a small shop area with is a nice touch. The reception desk is not open 24h but the acess to the car park is very convient and you pay for it each time you leave the hotel

Czech RepublicMosquitos. Bring the spray (and Raid Electric if you like to have windows open at night). For the same money I can get much more in other hotels of the same class. Very poor price-performance ratio here. Restaurant serves only and extremely small portions. Absolutely not worth it. Breakfast is "a la carte", so for example if you order a müsli with yoghurt, you get half of a small glass of it! For 6 Euros. Same price for a small quarter of a wafle. See the pictures. An it is the same for all the meals. For parking they charge 1€ PER HOUR! Which is nowhere to know before you arrive. We chose this hotel based on the option to charge our electric car, but the charger wasn't working yet. Also it seems that they will require additional money for the charging which is just insane, given the price of the parking. In other hotels we don't pay for the parking and charging or we pay EITHER for the parking OR for the charging. Beds are very soft, so after 2 nights our backs were hurting. Strange smell all over the halls. Wellness: Poor experience. The area is actually only 2 saunas with a resting room without any pool. In the sauna there are full size glass windows open to the garden from where anybody can see you naked (and from the windows of the nearby buildings). There are no sheets in sauna, only towels (so you soak your sweat to the same towel that you use to dry yourself). The tank with water to drink was empty and noone cared for the whole afternoon. The 90°C sauna was definitely colder than it's supposed to be. Using our room card we could open anyone's locker in the changing room of the wellness area. No "clock" inside the saunas, so you don't know how long you are inside, which can be dangerous. No other services such as excercises, yoga, massage or anything similar. The grass "beach" area doesn't have any toilets there.
We stayed for 3 days and the best thing there is the lake. The location is absolutely gorgeous, quiet and the hotel has a wonderful private "grass" beach with huge trees. There are some parasoils and deckchairs there, and also couple of swings/hamakas. The hotel buildings are brand new and modern, so everything is very nice. There is an underground garage to park with automatic licence plate recognition for the payment. The staff is very nice and helpful (especially the blond lady at the reception). We very much enjoyed the terase in our room. The hotel was half empty, which we enjoyed very much. The saunas and other facilities could be crowded in future when there are more guests.
