Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Room was very small, even by European standards. We could barely open our suitcases.

The Sorat delivered on its promise of being close to the Christmas market, which was our primary reason for the booking. The room was small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was standard, but complete. A functional, accessible and clean hotel for its purpose.

My initial interactions with the reception staff were not exactly warm or helpful. But the rest of the interactions were good. Room was very small - I could not open my bag anywhere other than on the bed. No coffee machine in the room etc. But you get the location in a major city so not really something to complain about.
Excellent location. A bit of a trudge from the rail station but easy to locate and I could have taken a Ubahn half way. Right on the main square and there is a taxi rank alongside it. Easy walk to multiple U stations and to a lot of major attractions such as the Palace, various museums, churches etc. Plenty of life around and loads of restaurants and cafes. Given the location it could have been noisy but it was not.

beds and pillows are very bad. Also reception staff (i dont know her name) who were working on saturday and friday was very rude

Small room, tiny shower with inadequate shelf space for holding soap bottle etc. Our room was right over the smoking area so smelled like smoke even with windows shut and fan on. Slightly creepy decor although quite funny at same time! Sliding window screen between bathroom and bedroom meant you could either see everything happening in the bathroom from the bed, or have creepy full-length painting of a woman smiling towards you. Rather odd. Pillows were bad, had to ask for extra from reception as they were very flat and far too soft. Other hotels usually give a selection but these were just one small square cushion which flattened to nothing and a larger but very flat pillow. No fridge
Can't fault the location, was about as close to all the attractions in the Old Town as you can get. Nice complimentary toiletries.

The hotel is outdated and in need of renovation, but for a night or 2 is fine. The carpet needs to be replaced as it is stained, and looks filthy. I won't be coming back.
The hotel is very well located and has an underground carpark. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the check in was smooth and quick.

Shower in bath was verging on dangerous for older people who need a dedicated shower to walk into. Hotel starting to show it's age in furnishings and fittings. No tea/coffee in room.

Breakfast price. No hotel parking. Small room. No refrigerator or microwave.
Over priced breakfast. It's $12 for burnt bacon and slimy eggs. They sold out their parking before we arrived. You'd think if they offer parking as a guest you'd park for free but we had to pay an additional $18 a day for a parking garage across the street.

Great location, old town is just right in front oh hotel, in fact you could see it while having breakfast. Staff is extremely helpful, recommending where to have meals, what are the local attractions.
