Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe room was a bit small and I prefer older hotels. New ones are all the same.
Good value. A motel type structure, modern, clean, convenient.

Spainnothing, i liked everything.
This place is absolutely amazing. The staff are extremely helpful, and always smiling. To an extent, they always responded fast to my (too many) questions. They also opened the breakfast on a Sunday morning 1 hour earlier, as i had to travel early and i asked them if possible. The room although it is small, but super nice, comfortable, and has everything you need. The location is 5 min walk to the center, and 2 min walk to the University of Bauhaus. Highly recommended.

United KingdomThe hotel is different from others in that staff are only there during the daytime. There was no tea/coffee making facilities either in the room or in the lobby, although there was an honesty fridge for drinks. We didn't realise that reception would not be open after 5pm, although to be fair we subsequently noted that they had sent an email during the afternoon of arrival that stated that, and how to proceed with getting the key. So getting in was tricky, as was understanding which nearby street had free parking. Ultimately that was not a problem and just a short walk away (there is limited charged for parking on site). Surprisingly we paid much the same for each of our hotels on our tour, those in Eisenach and Leipzig were similarly centrally located, but had better facilities as they were more traditional hotels, one old and one new.
The hotel is very clean and modern, with space used economically to create rooms. We must have had a "basic" room which meant that there was nowhere to relax other than sitting on the bed. There is no lounge area in the hotel, just a breakfast room, which is locked in the evening when staff are not present. General security is good, with a key fob to access both the building and the room (which had a safe). The breakfast was very good, and staff very polite, and were helpful when our hire car broke down as we were leaving. Wi-fi was free, and the hotel is 5 minutes walk away from the centre of Weimar, so it proved to be an excellent base for exploring. Adjacent to the hotel is a wonderful and fascinating shop for hobbies and crafts - my wife was over the moon!

United KingdomI could have done with a bigger bath towel. It barely covered me, but I am quite round and need to lose weight 😉

United KingdomNothing to remark.
Wonderful hotel - everything was great from check-in to check-out. I got an unexpected room upgrade - which made my stay even better. Lots of nice details from little chocolates and water in the room to the great and varied breakfast. All the staff was very friendly and accomodating. I think the hotel was all fully booked over the Christmas holidays but it felt so quiet. Weimar isn't a very big city - so one can get everywhere well on foot, the hotel is in a very good location. It's a very short walk to the center with all the shops and other cultural landmarks. Very happy with my stay and would book again!

LuxembourgThe only very small but was that the rooms on the top floor have triangular windows with fitted curtains which prevent the windows to stay open. The weight of the curtains pushes the windows into the closed position. I used cushions to keep the windows open. On a hot day it was necessary to let in some cool air in the evening. There was a vertical ventilator possibly even with AC (not sure) to remediate the problem, however I prefer fresh air. This however would not discourage me to come back. I was really happy with the stay.
Great central location. Walking distance to main sites and the central market. Very clean and comfortable. Parking at a reasonable price. Nice breakfast. Very nice staff.

IrelandThe room was comfortable and the breakfast was filling. I came to Weimar to see the city and what I liked best was that the person at reception gave me a map of Weimar, which really help in seeing the sights of the city.

Hong KongThe hotel looks like a motel more than a decent hotel. The corridor to the rooms are located outside of the building and the building materials for the rooms seem pretty cheap and fragile.

CanadaNo air conditioning; stayed during the hottest days in mid August and the room was sultry hot with no way to bring wind into room since windows are only one 1 side. Basically slept all night with all windows wide open to cool down as other neighbours walking past our room.
Quaint little motel style hotel that has very clean spacious family room. Great location in a very walkable city; right next to Uni Weimar campus office
