GermanyThe owners were absolutely lovely. The breakfast was not just the normal German Aufschnitt und Käse, but had a variety of homemade options. The mattress was the most comfortable I've had in a hotel and the location is minutes from the bus stop as well as the beach/dunes. The dog cost an extra 19€/day, and for that we were given a bed, dog bowl, treat and towel. We really could not have felt more welcome. 100% would recommend to everyone who visits Amrum

Booking the last room available on an island at the last minute during peak holiday season is not the normal way you would go about getting a comfortable room in a good location at a good price -- and yet that's what I got. I was travelling alone, so I didn't need a big room. Walking distance from the ferry and from the coast.

It's the second time I stay here and I would definitely recommend it. The location is perfect, just 5 mins from the ferry. The room was a bit tiny (especially for two guests) but had everything I needed. The breakfast is great. The owners are very nice and helpful.

GermanyEverything was perfect. The hotel is about 5 mins walk from the ferry. You can rent bikes directly at the hotel which is super convenient to do. The room had everything I needed, was quite and spacious. Luggage storage is possible. Also, it's only 5 minutes walk to enjoy the sunrise. And the breakfast is great! The owner is super helpful and attentive. I had a great stay here and in Amrum in general. Highly recommended.

This hotel was chosen because of close proximity to the ferry. We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel, which despite being on an island was able to give an excellent experience. The host was very friendly and the breakfast was well laid out with lots of choices. A nice plus is the free book service where plenty of (German) books can be found to read.

GermanyThis hotel is centrally located to the port and the beach. The owner was very accommodating for those with special food needs: gluten-free, non-dairy milk, etc. The breakfast was good and plenty. Our apartment was cozy. Renting the bikes from them was a big advantage.

Superfriendly staff. They helped us to plan our activities and gave us tips on where to go and what to do. I recommend to rent a bike from the hotel, good price and comfort. Breakfast was good with a lot to choose from.

SwitzerlandValue for money is just not right: my room had a strange smell, was moldy. I believe it had not been heated for a while. The room was tiny. The bathroom had a toilet that was squeezed into a corner such that you could hardly use it in a comfortable way. The shower was very small and narrow. The way to the room from reception led around a number of corners and was not pleasant, the hallways were cold and badly lighted in the night. Rooms in the newer annex might be better, but this one clearly was not worth the money.
The location is great, 2 min. walking distance from the beach, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming.
