Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustriaStaff were more concerned with a private video call during check-in than with their actual tasks. The same goes for bar staff.

The hotel was really great, and the room was perfect and comfortable. The staff were very friendly. We loved the breakfast, as well as the possibility to stay in the lobby where one can work, enjoy a cup of coffee, eat... We loved our stay here!

Germanyterrible! never never again! a holiday inn would have been a better value for the money... there is no water or coffee or kettle in the room oarking is difficult and limited and even if you pay its not always accessible as the street is very narrow and cars block it. someone brought dirt with poo in the hotel to all the elevators and it smelled terrible and it didnt get clean until the next day...wth?! I had to leave early to drop my parents at the airport and we were greeted at lobby by loud drunk men... sorry but not what I paid for!

PolandNothing, our stay was great :)
The hotel is modern and nicely located in a quiet area. There is a bus stop nearby from which you can get anywhere. The room is big enough, very clean, attracively decorated and the bed is really comfortable. The breakfast is really tasty and offers a good variety of products. The staff is helpful and approachable.

GermanyI am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the recent experience I had at your hotel. I arrived at the hotel on 20.06. at 23:30, after making a late check-in confirmation the night before. To my utter disbelief, I was informed that the hotel was overbooked and that I would be sent to another hotel in the city, which was approximately a 30-minute drive away. As a result, I didn't arrive at the alternative hotel and check-in until 1 am in the morning. I specifically chose and booked your hotel because of its proximity to the airport, as I had an early morning flight to catch. However, I was left frustrated and inconvenienced by the fact that I had to travel all the way from the city to reach the airport, adding unnecessary stress to my already exhausting journey. To add, I was also forced to pay for an expensive taxi fare to the airport due to the last-minute rebooking. What disappoints me the most is the complete lack of compensation or any form of recognition for the inconvenience caused. Not only did I have to endure the inconvenience of being redirected to another hotel at a late hour, but I also had to bear the financial burden of the additional transportation costs. This is unacceptable and reflects very poorly on your hotel's performance. As a customer, I expected better service and professionalism from a reputed establishment like yours. It is disheartening to have such a negative experience, especially considering the efforts I made to ensure a smooth and comfortable stay. I believe it is only fair that you address this issue promptly and provide appropriate compensation for the inconveniences I have endured. I hope you take my feedback seriously and understand the impact that this incident has had on my overall experience.

Germany- Parking cost !25€ per night! Its a huge underground garage under the !neighbor building! NOT the hotel building. Parking lots are quite far from the hotel´s entrance, you have to walk down the entire street at night, either through an empty garage or the street. - To use the elevator, you have to use your keycard (its usually a security measure), but the staircase does not have this security lock so you can just use the stairs.... that was quite annoying to always pull out your keycard to be able to use the elevator. Why have it, if anyone can use the stairs anyway?? - Room was very small, not much space if you have more than one luggage. The "side table" is a little shelf, not made to work on. - There were no glasses for water, kettle, little water bottles or quick cheap coffee packs like in any other hotel, which is a minimal standard pretty much everywhere. Also no small fridge to keep a sandwich or snacks. - In the morning I asked the reception for an iron to iron my shirt, they asked for our room number and said someone will bring it to us. We went up, waited for a bit but had to go. Thanks for the iron that never came. Couldn't you just provide it at the reception? - There was no toothpaste, make sure to bring your own. - Breakfast, they had no tablets to put several bowls or plates on it, so you had to either fill one plate with all the food or go back and forth to get additional plates. - No scrambled eggs or omelet, only boiled eggs, meatballs and vegetarian sausages. - Location is also not the greatest, not many restaurants or bars nearby. - Sleeping with open window is too noisy because of the street bellow. We visit Hamburg once or twice a year and wont stay at this hotel another time unfortunately.
- The location was quite alright if you travel by car, it does not take too long to be down town or near the Alster. - I liked the pillows actually, usually they are uncomfortable or way too big and soft that they end up being under your upper back. These were quite comfy. - Sunlight blocking curtains.

GermanyNo explanation on how to use the facilities from day one on. Most of the staff not very friendly and you almost needed to ask for basic stuff. Also please don’t state that you have a restaurant when you only are able to serve pizza. On the bright side, breakfast and room cleanliness was ok, as well as location.

United Kingdomthe staff could have been more friendly. there was a lack of good communication. there were few that were nice. when I arrived, the member of staff who checked me in was really really strange, and some what rude, did not make me feel welcome at all, it was an effort for him to speak to me and guide me through the rules of my stay. did not smile at all. spoke to me in such quite voice and reluctantly that I had to ask him to repeat himself cause I didn’t hear him. did not show me the room in person, just gave me the key card and sent me off. when I actually went to the room, he had sent me to a room that had not been cleaned nor prepared for new guests to come. I had to come back down and another one of staff, which was the nicest apologised and changed my room. the key card stopped working twice and that was another issue. on my last day, the check out time was at 12. since 10:45, cleaning team kept barging into my room for some reason. and at the end that made me so flustered that I had to rush out of the room.
the breakfast was good. the atmosphere and the design of the building and the lobby was stylish. room was quiet nice and comfy. and clean

SwedenInformation about the parking situation
Parking the car is a big problem. No parking spots close to the hotel. And no way to understand the parking rules in the suburbs surounding the hotel. If you manage to find an parking spot, you dont know if its alliwed to park… And not much help from the staff at the hotel.
