Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Location was kind of industrial looking. Nothing much around. Not easily accessible with public transportation. So taxi costs will be high. Room was on the smaller size though this would a big room for London or Paris. Lighting at night is a bit dim. The roll up curtains for the shower are already hard to manage and likely will be even more stuck in the near future. I wish the room has a small kettle because going down to the front desk for a cup of tea at 5am is unthinkable. No real desk nor chair in the room so you cannot plan to work in your room except while sitting in bed.
Excellent breakfast with gourmet teas. Brand new room, bed. Efficient and quiet. Front desk is friendly and helpful. Will stay again.

I’m not sure what to make of management. In fact, I’m concerned about how they treat their staff. On arrival everything seemed normal on the surface, we were waiting for our room to be prepared. As such, I approached reception while the staff were in the office, and tried to gain their attention to which I discovered there was a serious issue. One receptionist ran off in uncontrollable tears. I felt so sorry for her when I discovered that a manager caused that issue. It was so concerning that the other receptionist was also crying and wiping off her tears to attend to me professionally. I can only admire their tenacity to continue while being disturbed by management. The whole stay made me feel uncomfortable paying into a hotel and treating their staff egregiously! I really hope whoever the manager was to reduce both staffs to tears gets seen too!!! I find it unconscionable to treat staff without respect and dignity!
Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful. They assisted in various capacities in all sense of the word.

Although room was clean, towels were old and worn out, something unexpected for the price range. Room was not cleaned after first night as expected, but staff -that could not speak english nor german- knocked at our room at 6p.m. asking us if we want our room cleaned and at the end said they will come tomorrow because they have to go home(?)
Beds are extra comfy, quiet location but very close to Berlin Mitte with public transportation or bike. Staff is friendly in general.

Asked for an early check in as was on multiple delayed flights. Never heard back from the hotel about it or offering an alternative. Had a sleep in on the Sunday asked for room to be cleaned never occurred.
The room was awesome with great facilities and the bathroom mirror was great.

No bikes for rent.
Good comfortable beds. Clean rooms. Checkout time 12.00 perfect. No bikes available for rent that's a pity good advice for the future bike renting. For affordable price. Parking is good and free. Definitely going to stay here again.

Check in/out and service at the counter was - at times - a bit slow. Some of the staff is very efficient and very helpful, some other not so much.
The hotel is new and very clean, the rooms pleasantly furnished and the bed comfortable. Breakfast is good, varied and abundant - and it starts very early! Internet works very well.

1) The overall hotel lobby areas had smell of new paint-like. It should have been more better fragrance, the hotel should use better aroma solutions. 2) The Bluetooth speaker in my room wasn't working.

The hotel feels understaffed – usually only one person operates both the check-in desk and the bar which causes unnecessary lines and waiting times. Everything takes long: I waited 15 minutes to order at the bar and another 15 to get my beverage and snack; another 10 minutes to pick up luggage from the storage. The staff itself is pretty nice but seems stressed about having to do gazillion things at once.
The rooms are very clean, everything is comfy and looks new. The rooms have a good soundproofing which is definitely a great thing and the location is peaceful. The breakfast is good as well. There's free parking on the street.

Public transportation was not easy with tube or trains. Bus was an easy option however it was not that frequent after rush hours.
