Beyond any doubt one of the best breakfasts to be had at an extremely reasonable price. Staff are professional, kind and helpful.

The doors in this hotel in the communal areas are very heavy, very wide glass and metal doors that are very hard to keep open to get through with luggage. There should be buttons to automatically open them. Also every hotel I have stayed in so far has a kettle and complimentary tea and coffee in the rooms but the Niu didn’t.

I don't know why more hotels don't, but it would have been nice to get some disposable/recyclable slippers during the stay.

Lack of hot water was a continuing prob;em for my 5 day stay. At these prices-that's unacceptable. I had the temp all the way to hot and the water was just tepid for the majority of my showers. Prices were quite high for this level of comfort. Perhaps this was due to the busy September period of business travel/ meetings in Düsseldorf at this time of year. Also the wifi wouldn't connect on my laptop because of the lack of security on the web address to access it. Had to use my phone for internet where this wasn't a problem. No restaurants in the immediate area.

Excellent breakfast. Varied choices every day. Nice park right next to the hotel. Comfortable large lounge area in the lobby. I've stayed here before and the hotel seems to have slipped a little in quality in the last 2 years

The rooms are really nice, with a big Bathroom and the bed is really comfortable. Breakfast is TOP, good selection of teas and the selection of foods will satisfy everybody.

Our double bed was kinda separated, having in the middle a little gap, which is not the most comfortable option for a couple.

When showering, the water comes out and wets a good portion of the bathroom, due to there not being a shower door. The hotel is sadly also in a quite remote area, meaning that you have to walk a lot for the city center.
