United KingdomA reasonably priced, comfortable, and modern hotel in a pleasant residential area, a short tram ride from Cologne city centre. Our bedroom was small but very clean and well-equipped. The bed was really comfortable with good quality bedding. Sahra, on reception, was so friendly, cheerful, and helpful - she is a credit to the hotel. Although the hotel is reasonably priced, we paid a hefty £18 a night to park. It is a quiet neighbourhood, and on street parking is possible, but it still seemed sensible to park off the road. There are very few restaurants and shops in the vicinity of the hotel. The breakfast was adequate, although free fruit was available in the reception area throughout the day, which was a nice touch.

NetherlandsWhen we went for dinner at the restaurant there was only one option: pizza. We hoped for pasta.. but there wasn’t a menu to choose from. But the pizza’s were super delicious!! So we we’re happy in the end.
This was our second stay at the Deutz and definitely won’t be the last. We love the location, the staff is super friendly and the beds are amazing.

SwitzerlandThe staff is awesome and the rooms are very cool designed. Good breakfast, althought there can be a waiting line at the coffee machine. Usually there are paid parking spots available, including 2 with EV chargers (EUR card required, my non-EUR card is not accepted). There is an ATM and a kiosk next door and a supermarket 5 minutes away. Same for public transport. Wish I could stay longer.

United KingdomBoth nights I wanted to eat at the hotel, the kitchen/restaurant was closed with no announcement/warning at all. As both times I was quite tired and didn't want to travel back into town, this left few options - there are not really any/many other restaurants in easy walking distance. So I had to get UberEats delivered, which wasn't really what I had planned! Also, the TV screen in the room kept randomly switching on in the middle of the night so at 3am I'd suddenly be woken by the room being flooded by blue light, and I couldn't work out what caused this or how to prevent it.
Staff were really kind and helpful, but seemed a bit overwhelmed. Breakfast was tasty - very nice tea selection, good cereal selection, decent range of hot food, pastries, etc., but is expensive. Room was comfortable and peaceful. Was too hot initially but fine once I opened the window, and as it's in a fairly quiet residential area, you don't get a noise issue doing that. Wifi very good. Toiletries nice. Bed comfortable.

United KingdomWe didn't realize ahead of time that the hotel wasn't outside of the ULEZ zone, so we unfortunately had to park a fair disstance away and taxi in -- but that's our fault for not doing our due diligence.
Our rooms were absolutely immaculate and well stocked with all of the essentials. It looks like it's been recently renovated, so everything was lovely and modern. They also had a little sweets station in the lobby, so it was nice to grab some free gummy bears after a long day of travel. We didn't have a meal at the hotel, although what we saw looked nice!
