There was nothing we didn't like!

What a find! A quirky, stylish and very welcoming hostel where we immediately felt comfortable. The receptionist was lovely and happy to chat as we sat in the VW drinking a much-needed beer... Our room on the 5th floor was simple, very clean and again, comfy. Great to have plugs either side of the bed. A safe and secure environment which was spotlessly clean throughout. We spent a great evening in one of the little snugs in the main refectory, reading and talking before moving to one of the tables to play a word game we'd brought. There were people relaxing all around and making use of the snooker tables too.

Ridiculously pricey for the value. For 80€ per night you would expect at least shower detergent and an extra towel for your hands.

The hostel is basically for youngsters, teenagers, big student groups. If you are a little older or looking for a calm stay, this is not the place. Breakfast time is very loud with the groups. I had to go somewhere else. I really did not sleep there. Every night, big time snorers, guests coming into the room at all times during the night. Got a bad cold staying there from roommates. My suggestion: put curtains to give a bit more privacy in the beds and assign beds at check in with numbers or letters so nobody takes your bed which happened to me.

Can’t really think of anything

The street sign is so unassuming, and you will be surprised the second you get to the building! The reception and dining hall is amazingly artsy and beautiful. Valeria at the reception was so nice and handled a huge group of Dutch students calm and professional. Walking in the place will leave you speechless! Promise!

Two roommates were so noisy,seems that they were friends. They always talk with each other in the room at mignight or morning while other people were sleeping.

The staff were very unhelpful at times. We returned one evening to find a man asleep in my friend’s bed. We asked for help to remove him and the staff member refused- the man was about 50 and we are 18 year old girls, so some help or support would have been appreciated.

bed was clean and comfortable. The shower and toilet were both clean and the atmosphere was good. Good value for money, and cheap alcohol available to buy at reception.

During my stay there was a group on teenagers making a lot of noise. Screaming hearing music, running in the halls. This behavior should be inadmissible

The matrass was super thin and in this way i could feel the bedframe. The hostel was not super clean. As my roommates didn’t talk, it was very diffucult to meet people as a solo traveller. The breakfast was on the expensive side

An absolute must-visit for everyone! It's insanely quirky, uncomfortably loud, yet oozing place with atmosphere. It's set in a former monastery, where the rooms are crafted in the former monk cells. The whole place has this monastic vibe turned upside down. Plus, there are quirky little cabins for the sinners on the premises. A wild and offbeat experience you won't want to miss.
