No elevator for me at under 30 it was fine ,for others it might be a bit more difficult. Breakfast could've had more variety but it had everything you needed.

The balcony was disappointing - not like the pictures! The hotel was slightly run down which added to its charm for us.

A single bed consisted of two beds, therefore it was not comfortable to sleep in the middle.

The room was a bit cold, and the decor is slightly tired, but these were really very minor issues. If there was one thing we might suggest changing, it would be to put up black-out curtains. As it is, you're woken up by the sun rise. That wasn't a problem for us, as we had to get up early anyway, but some guests might want more of a lie-in.

The location is beautiful and within easy walking distance of the Old Town. Our room was spacious and had a view over the river. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the breakfast was good. The wifi was secure, which is often not the case. This hotel is excellent value for money.

They presented me with a higher bill when checking out. I told them the price I booked through Booking.com. They corrected it right away, but didn't apologize for the mistake and seemed annoyed that I mentioned the price difference.

Not much to complain. The only thing is that is a little bit far from some markets or shops, minimum 1km to find something. However, this is really a small thing.

The hotel is just in front of a small river and view is beautiful, specially in the breakfast. The breakfast included is simple but well done. The bed was very comfortable. It is located in a good neighborhood in the city.

The Host took some getting used to with his sense of humour but the service was professional. Car park a little limited but there was a space as advised - difficult to enter and exit though.

The room allocated was on the top floor (which we could have done without !) but it was large and comfortable with lovely views of the River Wakenitz. Very clean and the Breakfast really nice in a lovely dining room overlooking the River.

The towels weren't changed (even though we left them on the floor), and we shared balcony with another room but no one notified us beforehand.

The room didn't have a waterboiler or bottled water... Would be great to have a waterboiler at least. The hotel is rather old, but has its own unique atmosphere. Overall, was a good stay.

We had a lovely view from our room across the Wakenitz river. We could also enjoy the view of the Wakenitz from the nice breakfast room and outdoor patio. Additionally, the innkeeper and staffA great were friendly, helpful and spoke English.

The rooms are a bit outdated, but VERY clean. The bathroom grout was a little moldy around the shower.

The location was exceptional, directly overlooking the Wakenitz river. 15 minutes on foot to Lübeck Altstadt, or 5 minutes by bus. Great breakfast!

Beds were so creaky we had to put the mattresses on the floor to sleep. No kettle or hairdryer in room.

Nice hotel at a peaceful location, right next to a lake. The receptionist was really kind and helpful, and the breakfast was great. I had an amazing sleep on the comfortable bed.

Free garage places for motorcycles. When asking about parking space outside the hotel the manager said "NO, the garage is better" :-) Very good breakfast with attentive and alert personnel in the kitchen. Small, quiet and very cosy hotel just by the waterside.
