Things I enjoyed: Property, staff, well located and ease of access. Nothing I didn't like really, it's more that it was nothing out of the unexpected: the breakfast was fine, the rooms are simple yet comfortable. It's a good hotel overall, I would recommend for a business trip.

Never got the shower soap to function, but we solved this with some own from Rema. No problem.

Fantastic details in oak and brass, especially the PH 3/2 lamp at the front desk. I concider my self as a PH-collector now. Previously, the wall with the oak knots in the room inspired us to make this wall back home, so we bought 5-6 knots at Salling and took back home to Oslo. This is the third time in Aalborg, and the 2nd time at Kompas. Beautiful staff, hotel and city.

The room itself was a bit smaller than I had expected. The temperature was a little too high and I was unable to reduce it. There was no shampoo/conditioner in the shower.

The breakfast was top notch, with many healthy and tasty options and a wide range of beverages to choose from. Also a lot of bread choices, and the eggs were cooked well. I would come back just for the breakfast!

Breakfast was very ordinary.

Very well located with a short walk to the city centre. Easy parking. Quiet. Rooms were quite comfortable. Large lounge area with small bar. Tapas snacks only available - no restaurant but short walk to restaurants.

The elevator and room numbers do not match up, which is very strange and confusing initially, see photo.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The car park requires an app, which is not helpful if you are travelling on a data only phone plan and do not have a phone number to create an account. Breakfast was good.

Ideal hotel stay in Aalborg. Very centrally located with easy access to shopping, dining and sightseeing. Parking access was adjacent to the hotel and very affordable. Aalborg is the ideal location from which to see all of beautiful Northern Denmark. Breakfast selection was good and nutritious. Food service in the evening was sparse but service from the staff was excellent. Access to the gym across the square was a great bonus!

Its not really a hotel, rather a hostel. It has poor window covers, no ventilation or AC and its impossible to keep windows opened for ventilation due to very strong traffic noise from the street. Bad place for good night sleep.

Our room faced the street and there was a bit of traffic noise but still not so loud that it became a disturbance.

We needed to work in the room during the stay and the conditions were excellent, which is rare in hotels today.

The soap in the bathroom. It was a foam type of soap in both shower and at the sink. I felt it was too diluted, making me use a lot more than usual to get a clean feeling. Not suitable as shampoo.

Very good breakfast, very friendly staff, convenient parking, very good beds. We had bikes with us and were offered to use the locked room in the basement free of charge.
