The bed was too soft for my liking, had backache after the night's sleep. Parking was costly and difficult to locate.

Although there are sufficient parking space, it is rather expensive expensive as they charge you in 24hr block at DKK98, regardless of how long you park. Hotel should work with parking operator to change this arrangement. Please charge for usage (time based).

Great location, next to attractions such as H.C Andersens house. amenities are nearby - supermarket, F&Bs etc.

The only thing which could have been improved was the lighting in the bedroom. Sometimes it's nice to have a brighter light for reading.

The room was comfortable and quiet, excellent location for what we wanted to do. The choice of food and drinks at breakfast was outstanding - we enjoyed it very much.

There is very little storage space in the rooms for unpacking clothes, especially for 2 people. No drawers, 2 small shelves and only a small hanging rail. There was plenty of space in the room for drawers so why?? Breakfast was good but there wasn't much fresh fruit - there was whole apples but no fresh fruit salad, which I would expect at a hotel of this quality. Also no cappuccino/latte type coffee, only filter coffee which I personally don't like. All small things but all easily fixed and would take it from 8/10 to 10/10!

Overall this is a great hotel. Excellent location close to the town, comfortable, quiet room (we were on the 4th floor, ground floor is next to the street and may be more noisy) with good bed and good shower. Staff were excellent and breakfast was good overall (but see what I didn't like).

The breakfast was delicious.with many premium choices. The ham was very very good. I would have really liked a cappuccino or latte.

No kettle for hot water to make tea. Using the coffee machine meant the tea tasted like coffee. Parking fees were expensive.

Friendly, helpful staff. Room upgrade to a large and sunny room.

The evening meal was not eatable. The meat was leatherly, the carrots were raw. The compensate was only one glas of wine. The meal was a catastrophe

We read at some Tripadvisor reviews that it is very hot in summer, but we were in middle of August and we were fine without air conditioning that room lacks. We noticed the hotel provided ventilators instead. Do note that the reception is on 2nd floor although it is ground floor (?!), while we were at the “3rd” but actually 1st floor. We assume staying at the ground floor obviously is not of similar experience as you will probably not open windows overnight as we could. The only thing we missed was king size beds, they explained that as a conference hotel they keep only twin beds

Very nice, big and clean rooms just next to the Anderson’s museum. Very good breakfast, great cereals, pate, pankes (only eggs were poor). All rooms have name of HC Anderson fairy tales names at the door which is kind of cool

1) I paid my bill and asked for a receipt. I was told that this would cost me another 25 Dkr. This is totally unreasonable. At least you could offer to show me the bill on your computer. 2) Drinks in the bar are limited to beer or Gin & Tonic. More variety would be nice.

I liked my room and in particular the location of the hotel. Breakfast is also very good.

Wonderful staff! Kind and helpful. Beautiful room with a nice bathtub. The room had a bit of a bad odour coming from the bathroom, I suspect the sewer, but everything was clean, beautiful and nice. Lovely breakfast.

Bed was very hard, I could feel the spiral metal springs which was not comfortable.

We could have used some A/C in the room. It got really warm during the night. The shower was also dripping a lot but overall the stay was great.

Very conveniently located and the breakfast was good. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The request for twin beds we had made prior to the stay was met and the response time was very quick.
