We stayed in a double pod room which was perfect as a central city base, the communal shower and toilet facilities were always clean and easily accessible. The hostel has a great bar attached to it on the ground floor, a great value spot for drinks and always full of other travellers or locals.

Not the right place if you want silence

Hostal in the center of copenhagen, good price. The bar is great and as indicated its quite noisy in the night cause they do concerts

its quite busy I think students are living in the hostels. you have to wait to bathroom there is always big queue there. breakfast is 6 euros. there is no really reception. room doors are not really safe.

its really close to downtown and price is reasonable. you have to check in online and pay there. there I lively bar at the reception. so many people around you can meet new people.

When you arrive you can't have a human interaction, the staff redirects you straight to a machine for checking in and same goes for checking out There is no kitchen which is a problem if you stay longer or are on a budget, especially as danemark is expensive Lockers are before checking in / after checking out are paid, whereas they are for free in most hostels if you have/will stay there

One area that could use improvement is the design of the lockers in the shared bedroom. While it's great to have secure storage, the lockers were quite loud when opening or closing due to their design. This could be disruptive, especially late at night or early in the morning when others are trying to sleep.

I had an amazing experience staying here! The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, always ready to give tips about the area and make my stay comfortable. The rooms were cozy, and thoughtfully designed for both privacy and social interaction. The location was perfect. I loved the common areas, which had a great atmosphere for meeting fellow travellers. Whether you're looking for a place to relax or a base for exploring, this hostel is a perfect choice. I’ll be coming back!

The hostel itself is fun where you can meet a lot of people from diffrence backgrounds. The bar is cool and they have some live music sometimes. The location is almost at Central of Copenhagen and all the attractions are close by. It is 10 minutes walking distance to the metro the goes to the airport so I liked that about it. It is just a place for sleeping at night with good value of money.

Room was cold but blankets were warm. Upstairs toilets could flush better. But neither detracted from my stay. Skipped breakfast as buffet seem puny compared to summertime.

My third stay. Home away from home in Copenhagen. Forgot my jacket with wallet and glasses next door morning before flying out so couldn’t pick them up. They now have and promised to send them to me.

The bed length is slightly cramped if you are 6 ft or taller. The storage locker underneath the bed can only accommodate a medium size piece of luggage.

I had a great stay at Copenhagen Downtown Hostel! I loved the vibrant social atmosphere, friendly staff, and central location, which made exploring the city super convenient. The bar and communal areas were fantastic for meeting fellow travelers.

Size of the room, of the bathroom, can't have a proper shower as the shower head is in the middle of the bathroom in a very narrow space. Not suitable for pregnant women or a bigger person. Beds not comfortable at all.

Mainly the experience wasn’t good. First, they gave me wrong room. They said the one I booked was overbooked and no one told me that before. They only mentioned this at the reception the second time I when to ask about the access code. Because I had another problem, they gave me wrong access code twice. The toilets weren’t clean. The night stuff weren’t friendly neither helpful. Over all, as a solo traveler, it was one of the worst hostel experiences ever.

It is dangerous and not up to standard. The bed overlooks the window from the 4th floor😰😰😰😰 and Dirty The wet shower all the toilet paper in addition!

It was dirty, my bed and pod wasn’t very clean. My room smelt so bad, I expected it to be cleaned more regularly. There also was barely any space for storage and so I didn’t feel super safe leaving my suitcase out of my bed with no locker. Just a broken shelf with rubbish left on top. Also there was a sink right next to my bed which people kept using and it was so loud, even though there was a toilet just down the hall. But tbh the toilets and showers were gross, I honestly think it’s the type of people that stay here however. I don’t blame the cleaners as they can’t clean all day however they could hire more staff to clean more regularly. I only saw cleaners once in my whole 4 day stay

I liked the location and the fact that there is a social area with bar and music etc. that attracts locals and tourists makes it very social. However, culture was more prevalent if you already have a friend group. Solo travellers trying to make friends, it was more difficult
