Disgusting rude attitude of the staff. Even when I asked them, they refused to introduce themselves. I found out one was Francisco with a cheeky colleague of his. At 3pm my room was not ready for check-in. They were still 30 minutes late.The sheets were dirty. The beds are short.

The cleanliness of the hostel is a real issue. The toilets were poorly maintained and the floors of the hostel needed to be vacuumed

Nothing, everything is just so disappointing and disgusting, capsule bed was not really cleaned, toiled and bathroom was very stinky, no separate toilet for men & women. Very smelly and dirty overall

Worst receptionist ever. He had a dreadlock Pony tail on top of his head. He ignorer us for Half an hour. Then he gave wrong codes. He did not care. It was as he wanted to sabotage our stay. I Think he was drink or on drugs

Everything was perfect, but it was too hot in the capsule, but it was ventilator there and also outside was about 30’C so it will be also too hot everywhere :)

But the room and the sleeping pod were not good. Pod has a huge problem with suffocation and very less comfort. We took the double bed pod and the problem is the other person who slept not in front of the pod door won't be able to sleep due to HUGE SUFFOCATION.

The hostel is in a nice location and also has a nice environment during the evening.

Very small rooms, no hangers/wordrobe, no space to put things, uncomfortable tiny bathroom with shower over the sink/toilet. Staff not interested in answering any questions related the room/provided services. Might be ok for a 1 night stay as a hostel, but price for the double room vs what you get - very poor

I initially thought people in the reviews were perhaps being overdramatic due to it being so cheap. I’ve stayed in lots of hostels before and don’t expect luxury. However this is by far the dustiest and dirtiest I stayed in. Bathrooms were a bit gross but generally went elsewhere. However I woke up on my last day (stayed three nights) with a tickle in my throat and two days later I’m severely ill and can’t move from my bed. Whether it’s a standard flu or not, I have no doubt it was due to hygiene and has taught me a lesson about perhaps spending more money in future.

It was very central and only 15 minutes from absolutely everywhere.

It was very noisy, and I could hear everything happening throughout the night. The noise when the door unlocked was also very loud and kept waking me up. I was also right above the downstairs party/bar area so that I could hear the music. I did not feel comfortable showering at all, and the bathrooms were in ok condition, but I did not feel they were sanitary. I left after the first night and stayed at a CitizenM hotel in the City Centre.

I was traveling by myself for the first time and booked this hostel for my four-day trip to Copenhagen because hotels are too expensive. The staff was good, and the bar was nice, but the room was okay. I didn't sleep at all and was uncomfortable about the cleanliness of the showers and bathrooms—that's debatable.

I booked one night as a I had a layover that then turned into 2 nights so I tried to call to booke the second night in the same room to avoid changing beds / rooms and you cannot call the hostel! There is just a message saying email us. So I did email twice and got no reply at which point I just had to turn up and hope for the best. When I turned up I waited at reception and 3 separate staff members drifted in to ask me what I wanted and when I told them said they weren’t working in reception right now and I would need to wait for their colleague (so I’m unsure why they approached me at all). When the colleague arrived they were fully booked but she said if I went online I might be able to book a room. I was by now losing all confidence so I asked them to check my reservation for tomorrow and they said they couldn’t because the system was set to today and not tomorrow!?! The place also had free earplugs on the desk and when I asked the staff told me that was because there were parties. I ended up booking something else and did not stay here. The place did have fun vibe though and I suspect it would be a blast if you were in your early 20s and looking to meet new people and have fun.

If you’re in your 20s this place looked like a lot of fun.

The staff was rude and not very communicative when I needed help. The bunk beds were not numerated so at first glance it was not identifiable which bed is which. The room was too noisy, given the bars outside, so sleeping was impossible, although this could be easily solved if the windows were closed, but given that the room doesnt have air conditioning and it was a hot summer day, the windows could not be closed. Other than that, the matress was terrible, I felt that I was sleeping on a rock, waking up with back pain and the pillow was lumpy. And for those who like privacy, there’s no curtains for the bunk beds.

Really hot People don’t respect silence in capsule room, they put music, they scream late. That’s was horrible The toilets was dirty that’s smell so bad Some people was really weird like they ask our code … maybe for steals. The locker is very expensive

Everything was great. The whole area is clean, everything is fully functional. I was staying at a capsule and it had enough space to feel comfortable. Apart from that, I was concerned if it was going to be loud but I couldn’t here the noise from the bar at all, the only problem - when somebody moves around the capsule, you can easily hear them. The Wi-Fi connection was strong. The staff was friendly and helpful.

It is so unfathomably loud at night that it is impossible to sleep until past 3am. The shower in the private room is above the toilet, and leaks when you turn the tap on to wash your hands, so your head gets wet when you’re brushing your teeth or just using the toilet.

The hostel is in a nice area with lots of restaurants and cafes around. The drinks are cheap at the bar downstairs.

Very noisy, even with the windows closed you could hear ever conversation untill 3 in the morning, even on a Monday and Tuesday. I wouldn't stay again.

The staff are one of the friendliest, welcoming teams I've ever come across and they make you feel right at home. The hostel is well laid out which allows you to make friends easily. I met new friends in a matter of minutes and was able to have an amazing few days in Copenhagen!!

We are a couple that stayed in a capsule for one night. It is not possible to even get one minute of sleep in these capsule due to the extreme heat inside of them. We have been staying at different hostels all summer so we’re used to it being warm, but we have never experienced anything like this. There is a built in fan but it didn’t seem to make any difference. Because of this, we had to try to sleep with the capsule door open. Therefore we had no privacy and the bright lights in the room could not be turned off. It also didn’t help that the people we shared the room with decided to start getting ready and use the hairdryer next to our capsule at 5 in the morning. We would have gotten better sleep at a bench outside than in this capsule. We have stayed at cph downtown hostel many times before, albeit not in capsules, and had nothing but good things to say so this was a big disappointment. Even at its low price it was not worth it.
