Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomCurtains didn't fully cover windows so light was coming through. Bed was made of old scaffolding which I banged myself on a few times and really cold because of the metal. Duvet could have been a little bit bigger as was small. Unsafe plug socket sticking out the wall, easy fix but very unsafe.
Comfortable and cheap got free upgrade to a private room as was suppose to be in a capsule.

United KingdomI did not like the lift. Does not work. Staff are busy to give a bit extra help. Locker service should have 2 policies. For those who just left luggages and for those who book the room. Locker cost were high for me for 4 hours before getting the room.
Everything is good. Standard. I like most the bed. It’s equal to window and I can hear the church bell every hour and can hear the firework from Tivolli

EgyptOne thing I found very inconvenient is that the bed mattress was too high that it covers the power supplies near the bed so it wasn't possible for me to use it for charging. The sound proofing in the rooms is not great (even though I didn't suffer much because I was placed in a high floor, but sometimes I can still hear the neighbouring rooms when they talked loud. Also nothing is free ;) Even leaving your bag for an hour or 2 comes with an extra charge.
Great central location. I was lucky to get a room with a very nice view of the city which was very satisfactory. The breakfast was good, well honestly it was great for the price (about5-6 euros). Nothing fancy but had all the basic things you'd like for breakfast. Checkout is easy, just leave the card and leave. For party lovers, it provides great options and night parties.

United KingdomMore social game to help people break the ice. Drinking games or pool/beer pong etc. The fan in my pod was broken so it did get a wee bit warm and stuffy but okay.
Great evening activities. Could use more social activities like beer pong or drinking games etc but everyone was nice. Good staff and clean rooms.

Germanythis is definitely not for anyone who needs a quiet hostel as this is more of a party hostel , the staff seemed very annoyed Im used to staff being all hyped up making guests feel like they can reach out to them at anytime , unfortunately it made me more uncomfortable. room wasn’t ready after official check in which took some time away , I traveled 13 hours with a heavy backpack so I wish I could have gotten ready at least but it would have cost me 10DKK to use the shower as a guest , lol.had to wait until 4pm although I sat right next to the receptionist, nobody informed my when my room was ready
the location is great

FranceThe toilets were disgusting most of the time, facilities not super new, every option has a fee However I think that it's difficult to find better than that for the price, especially as central as this hostel is. So I think it's a good value for money and should be your choice if you're not too regarding on comfort.
Low price, great location, great vibe at the bar downstairs. Temperature in the room fine, ear plugs provided for free, easy check in and check out, clean sheets.

SwedenI did not want to pay for every meal that I ate at the hostel. For guests staying at the hostel, a separate kitchen and storage space should be provided where they can make their own meals.
Liked hanging out with the different people who were staying in my room

GermanyIf you want a hostel for relaxing and sleeping well after a long tourist day, this hostel is not for you since it's very noisy at night. There is kinda party down in the bar, and you can perfectly hear the music and people from inside the room. There is no kitchen in the hostel, just a small fridge (I would say a fridge for 2 people, yes it is really small), and a microwave, they are located in the bar, which makes it impossible for using when the bar is crowded with people dancing and drinking. Copenhangen is an expensive city, so its really important to have a kitchen with space and everyrhing you need to cook your own food.
Location is good.

LuxembourgThey have a bar just under the rooms and sometimes it can get a bit loud. But, it is something that they tell you from the beginning and they also offer free earplugs.
The hostel is at the city centre. You could go everywhere (bus station, train station, metro) with only 10 minutes walk.
