Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FinlandThe beds and pillows could have been better. Also the sounds from the trains were pretty disturbing at night time. A minibar or small fridge would have been nice to be able to put some snakcs/drinks in the cold.
The location was very good. Breakfast was ok. Coffee machine in the lobby was nice.

United KingdomThe location was fine for us but may be a little bit out for some people. It’s very central to the meat packing district, around 30 minute (very nice!) walk to the central shopping area of Copenhagen.
Lovely hotel! Staff were really helpful, rooms really comfortable and clean. I stayed here with my mum and we had a great time.

GermanyIt's a hostel, not 4-stars hotel. If you are ok with it, it's your choice! The price was quite expensive, but competitive to everything else - very-very fair. So, summarized, nothing negative, just to set expectations right from the beginning.
We booked a hostel and didn't expect much from it - just central location within the city. It was great and exceeded our expectations: modern and clean, great breakfast and even a free access to a swimming pool and a free coffee automate in the lobby. The hostel is located nearby Tivoli. We used the opportunity and visited Tivoli. All together - great experience and our choice for the next visit. We had a chance to put our car into the garage close to the house at a half of the usual price, what was great if you travel by car. The parking prices in Copenhagen are insane.

This hotel was a great find in the Vesterbro area. It is a short walk from Central railway station and is located in one of the most vibrant areas for late afternoon and evening drinks and meals. The room was large, with high ceilings and had been refurbished in a Scandi style which may not be to everyones taste. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was great. Free tea and coffee were available in the reception area. The breakfast was outstanding in a beautiful space. Because this hotel is part of a recreation and conference area, you had access to a large indoor pool and gym area.

United KingdomPillows very small and mattresses were more like pads as so thin. No milk available to use with the coffee machine for tea as only available at breakfast.
Location was great as close to central station and metro. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful with a good selection and the unlimited use of the coffee machine in the reception area was a welcome bonus. Room was basic but clean and functional.

United KingdomRooms very basic and minimalistic. There was no drawers in the room and limited hanging space, so more or less lived out of the suitcase. An iron and ironboard was in the room, but didn't really want to iron on my city break.
Great location, very central and close railway station, although some noise if your room backs on to the station. Room was clean and comfortable.Good selection at breakfast.

CanadaRoom was a bit tight for four people but had good storage and the bathroom had a tub shower combination which was also great.
Location was great to access the train station, the metro as well as to walk to most of the sights in the area. The room was clean and the bathroom a great size. The breakfast was good in a nice bright space. There was even a pool you could access which is a rare find. The common area was also fun for cards in the evening.
