Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

New ZealandThere was no air conditioning in the room. We complained to staff as temp was consistently 25 to 26.3 celcius in the the room. They said there was nothing they could do and that the temperature control was a heat transfer system, and didn't reduce temperature. Our stay was really uncomfortable, the staff offered us a cold drink to take to the room! We asked for a refund and was told they were unable to do this.
Close to city centre. The room had a bath. It was easy to walk to attractions.

SwitzerlandI would only add a negative comment about the staff members attitude. Maybe it’s a cultural thing but it wouldn’t hurt to smile a bit more and make people feel more welcomed.
Great choice for Copenhagen. Close to the main station, practical and cosy. The rooms are well designed with tasteful attention to detail. Breakfast is top notch, good choice for omnivores + vegans. We also used the wellness area, the fitness and the pool are a big plus. I would definitely recommend it for your next stay in the danish capital.

IndonesiaAlmost nothing, it’s just the breakfast area is in a separate building and it might get chilly in the morning when walking to the breakfast place.

AustriaDisappointingly unfriendly receptionists: plain impatient, the person checking in before me wasn't English proficient and the lady was extremely rude to her! You cannot have such people working for tourists, can't you?!... I even asked a couple of questions to different people on different days and all of them were simply rude, the vibe was just unpleasant. Rooms were not cleaned properly after the last guest, so my sheets smelled like people, not clean. The bathroom floor was super dirty. I had to buy stuff to clean it myself.
The rooms were decent, comfortable, with a nice window seat with a balcony, eco friendly, no unnecessary daily room service. Nice location, just 7 min away from the main station. Additional free entrance to the gym (very well equipped and maintained gym), swimming pool. Breakfast is fresh, has the basics, nothing super fancy. The boiled eggs are perfectly cooked, the scrambled eggs on the other hand are very questionable: cold and they taste a bit funky... Everything else was fine.

United StatesWhen we checked in they charged us more than the booking amount and said we didn’t have the correct number of people in the rooms and blamed Booking.com system for not sending the information. All 6 rooms were charged much more than agreed to at booking. The email I have from booking.com in November clearly states 19 adults in 6 rooms and there would be no additional charge. The hotel didn’t care and said there was nothing they could do it wasn’t their fault. Very bad experience and do not trust what rate you are quoted at Booking.com.
Location is the only thing this property has going for it.

Switzerland- The breakfast was really poor, as when we arrived, there wasn't anything to eat. It took quite some time for it to be served at the buffet again. There wasn't much variety as well, so overall, we only had breakfast there our first day. If we had known, we wouldn't have booked the room with breakfast included. Also, it's important to note that in Copenhagen, there are so many cute spots where you can have brunch and so many Danish bakeries. - The room wasn't as clean as I thought it would be. The bathroom had spider web and lime scale and i think overall it wasn't as well built as i thought it would be but it was ok
The location is amazing, so close from the train station ! The staff is friendly, and they have all the information you may need

CanadaVery plain/simple room. NO extras. Felt like a dormitory. Not a good bed. ONE very SMALL square pillow(child size) shower had 1 bottle of body wash. No cream rinse. No lotion. No face cloth. The room had a bed, a chair, a small desk & chair, a TV, an ironing board & iron, a hair dryer. Right beside the main train station so you hear the trains most of the night. OVER PRICED!
Very short walk to central train station

FinlandLike I said, the building is a few decades old, but everything works well so no complaints.
Since I decided to stay here also on the return journey, I'll leave two glowing reviews. I already waxed lyrical about the spa and breakfast, but I have to stay the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, find a nice restaurant and even had our lost&found ready for us for our next stay. I'm sure my kid never forgets seeing her favourite stuffed toy waiting as we arrived.

FinlandEverything is functional, but decades have taken their toll on the building. Still, we had no complaints.
I was traveling alone with two kids and was amazed by how friendly the staff were. The hotel is part of a local sports complex, so we got to enjoy the massive pool area! The breakfast was also a positive surprise. Also no complaints about the location: the lovely restaurants of the Meatpacking District are just a short walk away, and we travelled by train so CPH Central Station was just around the corner.

GreeceActually everything was good, maybe a few more options at the breakfast buffet would be nice.
The location of the hotel is very good and very central. Walking distance to Tivoli, walking distance to several restaurants and pubs, one train from the airport. The staff was friendly and ready to assist, the entrance, reception and common spaces were cozy. The room was clean and sunny, with some nice ideas, like a small mattress to sit by the window and large closets with sliding doors. The breakfast room (actually a restaurant) was a very interesting building. There could have been a few more breakfast options as we missed some stuff (e.g. honey). Other than that, the existence of the pool and the ability to visit all day long made these two days unforgettable.

DenmarkI had 2 different reservations (one made by me, and the other by the company) in two nights in a row. I asked to stay in the same room and was told, that it couldn't be done "because they were different rooms", so I had to check out at 11.00 to check in at 14.00 at the same hotel.
Location right by the main train station.
