Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

no curtains on beds, no outside food allowed and hostel food pretty expensive (same as the rest of cph) no kitchen to prepare anything.

I booked a mixed room, since I got to it till I left the room was smelling super bed (somebody bad hygiene or clothes) + the floor was full of trash of these people. some people live in there so that’s a bit complicated.
the location was stunning, very good facilities and comfortable bed.

The water in the shower was simply so hot, that it was almost not bearable to use it. I was not able to turn down the heat of it.

the clean of the room could be better. i ‘ve been the first day with 4 people in a shared room. After the first day they left but their garbage stay at the room until i left. If the trash cans will be inside the rooms be sure these will be clean every day

Toilets smelled like urine, smell stayed on clothes. Noise from the bar but it's ok for just a night and not extremely loud from floor 4.
Shop just in front of the hostel. 8 beds dorm : Shower clean. Matress clean. There was dust under the matress and behind the beds but that's not an issue. Locker just under each bed. Matress is comfortable, small light, 2 AC plugs.

I stayed in a private room for 4 with ensuite bathroom There are no daily housekeeping services, staff just came to empty the dustbin Very disappointed with no boiling water facilities in the room ( no kettle provided ) nor free drinking water provided for private room reservation.
Location is excellent, close by to all main attractions ( Nyhavn and main shopping streets are just 10mins walk away ) supermarket opp the hotel

There wasn't much to complain about but the pillow on the bed was flatter than a pancake but the bed was comfy. Overall one of my best hostel stays and would completely recommend!
We loved the atmosphere the fab design of the bar and the lounge area.Our room was a mixed dormitory with a private bathroom definitely value for money and 3 of us in the room meant there was only one other guest at anyone time which was great as we met a couple of lovely ladies who also shared the room with us! We did not have breakfast because we ate out but we loved that our lattes had some art on it and beer was excellent value for money in an otherwise expensive city. We loved how close it was to the airport and the centre and absolutely everything was within walking distance such as the Christmas markets and the palaces and also the harbour !

In the room where I stayed, there was no problem except that people who were in love had sexual intercourse.
