Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It was awfully hot inside. There is no ventilation in rooms and even with all windows open there was no air in the room. By the way possibility to open the windows is very limited. So I paid more than is fair for this hostel (42 euro for 1 night in the mixed room for 4 people) to die from heat. The sink itself is also inside the room so as I was leaving at 6 am I took all my belongings to common wc near reception to brush my teeth and wash my face. Plus, as I understood security in the hostel is also very limited because you can easily access any floor even if you don't live there.
Probably nothing. It was just a place to spend night between my flights but even for this reason I wouldn't really highly recommend it.

I wish they would have non-mixed gendered room as well but other than that amazing hostel
The location is excellent the beds are super comfortable and its really clean! Looks exactly like on the pictures. Good bar and activities! Team is nice. Valuable price!

I cannot think of anything at this point.
The property is centrally located and close to a lot of good attractions. It has a grocery store right opposite to it and the hostel rooms are very spacious. It’s very close to metro stations and have full speed wifi. Staff are very accommodative.The food in the hostel was good and during the evenings, the restaurant gets lively.

The entrance and elevators are not luggage-friendly; there are lockers in the rooms for personal belongings but you have to buy a lock additionally if you actually wanna lock them (no information upfront that you will need a lock), I think my bed had bedbugs as my legs had the typical red dots the day after..

Smart, cozy rooms that make up for the small space. Very comfortable bed, spacious lobby and bar. The hotel is close to new haven and right accross from the shopping area in the centre, with lots of restaurants and bars around.

We stayed in a Superior room for 2, room was quite small. Bathroom light was switched on with every movement inside the room :( and turned off very late. And unfortunately the front road was under construction so it was noisy&dusty, also we could hardly reached the hotel.
Location was very central, walking distance to many sightseeing places. We didn’t even rent a bike. Breakfast was affordable but there were many nicer cafe’s and bakeries within 5 mins reach. There were 2 supermarkets 1 min away. One towel/ person included in the rooms. There was no wardrobe but an open hanger.

At least I expected one towel will be carried as comtemporary. But it is required additional pay during my stay. It is 30 dkk based on Aug. 2022.
The location is perfect, shower room had enough selection of hot and cold water.

Room was smaller than I envisaged and there was only room to open suitcases behind the door. Despite asking for a quiet room, we were on the second floor above the road and were kept awake half the night with people talking below and cars, then workman and trucks early morning. Bit small but I realise it is a backpackers type hotel.
Location great and the price reasonable. The dining/bar/ Petanque was an exceptional area so it compensated a bit for the very small room and noise ++

very big hostel, i'd call it a "mainstream kinda hostel". every little extra you gotta pay money for. some staff seem abit cold. no outside food or drinks, the management wants you to buy from them hahah. it's less personal and more anonymous than smaller hostels. easy to see other guests only once and then loose em outta sight forever. may be something positive for you but i prefere the smaller, cosier kinds. seeya
great citycenter location, comfy and stable beds not shaking or making too much noise, big terrass & common area, lots of games like dart, pull n stuff, 24h reception, goood facilities, enough showers n toilets, met very nice people (other guests).

there’s no free luggage storage, and at no fault of the hostel there is a lot of construction going on, starting at 5am, shaking the building with fumes blowing in the windows.

there is no air conditioning in the rooms or hallways, our room was hot and stuffy despite the mild weather in Copenhagen, this place would be miserable during a heat wave, bring you own fan, some halls and rooms could use fresh paint, the back stairwell smelled like urine during our entire five day stay,

-no quiet areas if you need to work remotely -rooms/bathrooms were a little bit older, beds a little less comfortable. Totally normal for a hostel in general, I'm only being picky because I stayed at another copenhagen hostel (steelhouse) that was more comfortable and modern.
-Great, central location to Copenhagen's downtown, close to nightlife and tourist sites -very lively common area that is basically a large bar with shuffleboards, outdoor seating areas

It was very loud because of the counstruction site It was to hot in the room (6 floor)- a fan would be nice Long waiting for the Washing Maschine (there were only 2 for the whole building) and in was very expensive to wash Clothes Line would be nice for things that can’t go into the dryer
