Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FinlandThe breakfast was the worst we ever had, salad was brown and rotten, scrambled eggs slimey and their taste brought vomit into our mouths, coffee tasted arse, orange juice was diluted with tons of water. Fruits came from a can. Breakfast consisted of the cheapest ingredients and some of them had already expired.
The location is excellent, a short walk to the main attractions in Copenhagen. We stayed in a dorm, it was clean and quiet.

United StatesSome of the bed fixtures (plugs/outlets) were broken & dangling from the bed which seemed unsafe.
There was a toilet and shower in the room, but they were separate, which made it convenient. Loved having the sink in the room and the view out the courtyard. Convienience to the rest of the city.

United KingdomUnfortunately the bar pounds out dance music until at least 2am. There is a lot of noise from shouting and screaming from drunk hostel residents. It really spoilt the stay. Although our room was clean the hallways carpets, walls etc were not well maintained. If you are young and love to party this is a great place for you.
The room was clean and tidy. It was quite a central location.

United States50 Sq feet room with bunk beds. No towels. No soaps. No toiletries. You need to pay extra for everything. Blood stain on the blanket. It was possibly the worst $170 hotel room I have ever stayed in.
Location is the only thing going for them.

United KingdomPayed for a room with toilet and showers. The toilet was out of order for 3 of the 5 days I was there so had to walk down a couple hallways if you needed the toilet so not really what I paid for. Lockers that you need to pull out from under the bed that then block the whole walkway for others and there locker isn’t very smart. No communal or kitchen area to socials just a bar downstairs with little events to encourage people to get to know eachother ect.
Staff friendly.

UruguayThe insecurity of the place. The bathroom gets flooded. The customer service is poor. They do nothing if something is stolen in the room, corridors, or cafeteria.
The place is highly insecure, and robbery is a common thing.

GreeceIt could be a little bit cleaner, the bathroom furniture was rusty, the hairdresser didn't work, they provided worse room than the one that I have paid for at booking.com and I was tired of needing to constantly negotiating for things and wasting my valuable holiday time at the reception desk. For example, We arrived late and asked at the reception if there were toiletries in the room. They answered negatively so I was forced to buy from the reception. When I got into the room I saw that they have misled me and I return them. Huge waste of time at 2 am after a long trip.

PhilippinesCheck in was smooth. The staff at the reception was very efficient and friendly. The hostel is huge. The bed was comfortable and the sheets and pillow were fresh. The place was near the metro, stores, boutiques and attractions. The room had two shower cubicles and a toilet. The food in the restaurant had big portions.

PolandMy sheets was not clean. I also found the hostel verry stuffy. To be honest, I would not choose to stay in a shared room again. Because my roommates were snoring a lot. We can say that this is not about hostel but about me. Not feeling comfortable.
Their staff was so kind. Wi-fi connection was very good. Breakfast is not included our stay. I can say that the location is average.

United Kingdom- Rest and Recovery. There are no social amenities such as a common room with a kitchen, fridge, or chill room. This makes you feel transient and unrested. - Overcrowded Rooms. The rooms are overcrowded and very tight. Lack of amenities made some individuals stay awake in bed instead of in a kitchen somewhere. I felt like I was in everyone’s way, and everyone was in mine. - No Airflow. There’s no air circulation system in the entire building. Both the 8-person and 6-person rooms got really hot and stuffy, especially for those on the top bunk. Bear in mind, the temperatures during the day were around 17-19°C and 14-15°C at night! - Tiny Spaces. On top of the lack of physical space, when 3 out of 6 people are awake and getting ready, it becomes very crowded. There are very few hangers and shelves in logical areas such as your bed, corridor, and shower. The shower is a tiny room that anyone overweight would find very difficult to use, with 3-4 metal short knobs for hanging things. There’s no border but a shower curtain, so the floor ends up wet, and changing in that room after a shower is hard. Be prepared for your clothes to fall on the ground, or bring a bag to put everything in. By the bed, there are no shelves, so all essentials just randomly sleep with you in bed. -Bar, Food, Coffee, Breakfast is overpriced.
+ The location is central. + Beds and mattresses are comfortable. + Bed sheets are clean and of good-quality cotton. + Affordable in relation to local hotels

SwedenVery noisy (expected for a hostel). The bathroom smelled like pee and we didn’t get a hand towel. The shower wouldn’t drain so the whole bathroom flooded unless you turned off the water intermittently. The curtains were too short and in summer the sun is up until 10-11 so we had to cover the gap with blankets.
Great location, very central. Easy to go to the metro, just a few blocks away.

IndiaFor 120 euros 1) one has to deposit his luggage in a locker while waiting that the room be freed, 2) there is no glass for drinking water nor of course a jug of water in the room, 3) the wash bassin is so small that one splatter water on his feet while brushing teeth and the bassin is full.

CanadaBeds are super uncomfortable- no privacy curtains. Showers and bathrooms were filthy. The shower curtains had so much buildup at the bottom of them I wanted to vomit. The bathrooms constantly smelled unclean daily. No AC or even fans so the rooms are sweltering hot. Overall the place is a dump and needs some major updating and cleanliness standards.
Good location.
