Had a little difficulty getting into reception (apparently the camera and buzzer were broken), i was arriving from airport very late though so I don’t believe this would be a major issue for others.

Communication - we booked in using the terminal in reception but there was nothing on it about needing tickets for breakfast (paid extra on arrival for breakfasts). Only knew about the tickets on the last day.

I think the toilet in the room need some ventilation 😅

The service was excellent. I had problem with one of the electrical plug point and they lent me an extension plug. I had expected the room to be quite warm since it was summer, then the staff offered a small fan for me to borrow too. I needed to print the boarding pass to my flight and they were really helpful. All you had to do is just ask, they will be more than happy to assist. Best accom ever!

I wouldn’t bother paying to have breakfast included. The buffet had very limited options. You would be better to pay the same price for a breakfast meal off the menu on the day. Another thing to note if you book a mixed male and female room, you may end up being the only one from your gender in the room. I was the only female in my dorm room with seven men. I know I could’ve booked a female only dorm (for more $$$) but I shouldn’t have to. It would be good if in the future Generator could try to balance out numbers a bit more in co-ed dorm rooms.

The property was in a good location with many of Copenhagen’s attractions nearby. The room was clean. Facilities were modern.

The rooms are very small but this is fine if you don’t anticipate spending much time in it. There are lockers to leave your luggage but disappointed that there wasn’t an area to keep your luggage free of charge. I don’t keep valuables in luggage so didn’t need a locker, instead just a space to keep it. Price we paid was double normal price as both Rammstein and Pink were playing concerts that weekend.

The location was amazing, very central and close to a Metro. Our twin room with private bathroom was both comfortable and clean.

Emilio's welcome on the first day was much appreciated. Very quick check-in, quite late in the evening. I would recommend this very well-placed place for visits lasting a few days.

Good hostel. Actually a hostel, like a hostel. What does a person need when using a hostel? Bed to sleep and take a shower. In fact, the hotel is clean, the sheets are also, the bed is comfortable for me. The hostel also has a very good entertainment and relaxation area with a bar for drinks and food, pool tables, darts, an outdoor terrace, even a volleyball court and plenty of seating for visitors, with consumption from the bar optional. Also the hostel is in a very good location in the very center of Copenhagen, but be aware that it is 2 km from the train station and maybe 3.5 from the Flixbus station for example. But for those who arrive from Copenhagen airport or have a flight coming from there, the location is also very good, 5 minutes from the hotel there is a metro station from which you arrive directly to the airport. In fact, as you can see, I can say mostly positive things. UNFORTUNATELY, AFTER WRITING ALL THIS, I ALSO HAVE TO SHARE MY DISAPPOINTMENT REGARDING THE HOSTEL'S LUGGAGE STORAGE POLICY. THE HOSTEL OFFERS LUGGAGE STORAGE, BUT FOR A PAYMENT. 80 KRON, WHICH IS ALMOST 11 EUROS IF YOU ARE WITH A LARGE LUFAR. IT IS EXTREMELY OFFENSIVE TO ME. I TAKE IT AS BLACKMAIL. I THINK A LOT OF PEOPLE TRAVEL WITH LUGGAGE LIKE ME AND THEREFORE ARE FORCED TO PAY THIS FEE IF THEY HAVE A LATE FLIGHT ON THE DAY OF DEPARTURE. I TRAVEL ALL OVER THE WORLD. I'VE VISIT HUNDREDS OF HOTELS AND HOSTELS AND NEVER HAVE I BEEN ASKED FOR A LAGGAGE STORAGE FEE ATER CHECKING OUT. IF YOU LOOK AT THE GENERAL BOOKING INFORMATION FOR THE HOSTEL, YOU WILL ONLY READ THAT STORAGE IS OFFERED FOR LUGGAGE. WHEN YOU PAY THROUGH BOOKING YOU WILL RECEIVE A MESSAGE THAT YOU HAVE TO PAY A FEE FROM 5 TO 80 KRON DEPENDING ON THE SIZE, BUT YOU WILL RECEIVE THIS INFORMATION WHEN YOU ALREADY BOOK. EXTREMELY NOT CORRECT. SUCH GREED I CANNOT UNDERSTAND. I'M NOT WRITING TO COMPLAIN, BUT TO ADVISE OTHER VISITORS.

Can be very noisy at night, my bed vibrated along with the bass in the club. If you are in higher floors, it might be better, but what can you expect from a hostel! The club area was however very nice!

Great location and super social place! I recommend if you want to meet new people and if you like to party.

Well , price of dorm at saturday ( during roskilde weekend , maybe explains that a little bit ) was almost three times more than following days ..but well i guess thats how things work with businesses ..when there is demand prices go higher and so on ...

The bar was nice extension for rooms .Lot of things to do in bar lounge area like watching sports , playing games etc.. Staff was also friendly and helpfull ( even for stupid questions ) .

It is expensive, but everything is expensive in Denmark.

This is one of the better hostels in this chain of hostels. The facilities are good, and the location is handy to most of Copenhagen has to offer.

A little difficult to fill up my waterbottle with tapwater, the sink was too close to the tap to get the bottle underneath.

- The internet is not fast enough for anything other than emails and messaging, 3 Mbps down and 1 Mbps upload - The bathroom is not well ventilated and smells accordingly - TV has four local channels and due to “hotel mode” you can’t use HDMI - Check-In took a while due to massive queue and just two people on the desk - Storage lockers aren’t for free, you have to pay 10 DKK per hour

It is noisy if your room is on the street side (some bars are nearby) and drunk people are shouting and loud. -Last think it is not the Generator fault but I recommend having having a strict Hostel rule towards alcohol consumption (within the dorm rooms). Sharing a dorm is nice until people are drunk and not respectful of others guest.

The location and the bed dorm room are great!! The staff is super helpful and it is one of the greatest hostel chain I’ve experienced (it is my 2nd time here).
