The room is too small with only basic equipment. One small pillow available only per person. You have to keep windows closed all night because of the noise from the street.

Perfect location near the Kongens Nytorv square, the Nyhavn and the kings garden. Area is bustling with restaurants, bars and cafes. The hotel houses a nice bar with games and arcades.

The garbage can in the room had a missing lid, and was placed near the sink. So it started stinking in the night.

The location is excellent, near The King's Garden. I stayed in an 8-bed Mixed Dormitory Room and we had 2 private showers and a toilet, it was comfortable and there were no queues to them. There were possibilities to buy a towel (40 DKK) and a padlock (50 DKK) which I actually used. There is a lift for your comfort (for instance my room was on the 5th floor). Also, there is a huge common area where you can buy some food or beverages at the bar, just work or play many games. A rock band played on Friday night, they were stunning! (Tell Ken he is charming 😁) Not only people who are staying in the hostel can spend time in the common area, but other people as well (p.s. remember to show your room access card to the bartender to receive a 15% discount 💰💸). I met many super nice and good people from different countries, they obviously made my solo trip better)!

There were no wardrobes in the room. We had hangers available, but we had nothing to hang them on given the layout of the beds in the space. Most accommodation facilities will store my luggage for free.

Generator Copenhagen Hostel (1.4 km/19 min. walk northeast of City Hall) is located in the city center just a stone's throw from the King's Garden (Kongens Have) and Rosenborg Slot. You can check-in the hostel from 2:00 p.m. Check-out is until 10:00 a.m. Accommodation is paid for at check-in. We were accommodated in a Superior room with 2 separate beds with a private bathroom with a shower. We had a view of the inner block from the room. Free Wi-Fi was available throughout the hostel. There is no parking available. We stored our luggage in the hostel before check-in. We paid 50 dkk/6.94 euros for 1 large locker, which can comfortably fit 2 backpacks for 6 hours. We paid by credit card in the machine.

The bed was bad . Because it made from iron and some parts already broke. Especially in front of the pillow. So when somebody turn in the bed , that iron side all the time making voices at night. The toilet bin was not enough for 8 people. Because of that the toilet all the time looks dirty. They have to change with big one.

The organise events for every night of the week. It was a very lively environment and the food at the restaurant of the hostel was very good! The terrace is beautiful and location was perfect, near a few bars which were open at night. I liked that there was the option to choose for a female dormitory.

The room was very warm but there was a fan. While the rooms were very clean, the main hall carpets could do with a vacuum/hoover.

The central location and the reasonable value for money for a double room. The staff on the foyer were so helpful and accommodating.

The rooms were really small. There was no place to hang towels and people sleeping in opposite bunks could not open their drawers at the same time. The sink was also really small, so you couldn't fill your water bottle. There were no curtains around the bed.

The rooms were clean and modern. The staff was really friendly. There is a bar that serves pretty good food. The location is also really good with most sightseeing at walkable distance and a supermarket right across. Everyone in our dorm arrived on the same day and were around the same age which made socialising easier.

The room was very spacious, even bigger than the picture on the website. The bathroom was HUGE for some reason, almost the size as the bedroom lol. But overall it was a great experience staying here and we loved the convenient location, right next to the Stroget!

During my booking. Mixed dorm was an option, and a second option just said “dorm” , went for it thinking it was female.. but after checking in, I realized i was the only female. It should have been well specified. So it was quite an uncomfortable stay. Luckily boys were respectful and decent, except one that made me uncomfortable few times.

In the room, toilet and bathroom are in the separated compartments. There is no washbasin in the toilet meaning that after checking out the plumbing you need to contact surfaces just before washing the hands. Maybe this is not a problem of many of you but it is good to know (:

The social atmosphere was too much for us. There was singing, partying and shouting until 4am every night. We could not sleep well.

Prime location. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and buzzing social atmosphere. Laundry room was available for washing and drying clothes.
