Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The bed was a major disappointment. It had 2 mattresses, which were still too small for the bed. Because of that, there was a hole in between the mattresses every time. Since it is not visible in the photos, mentioning such things in the description is better.
The location is pretty nice, we could reach everywhere on foot. The hostel has its own bar/restaurant and souvenirs to buy.

The breakfast buffet was subpar in taste and options in my opinion. The scrambled eggs were soggy and the coffee was not of my liking (tasted somehow staled to me). Decided not to have breakfast buffet again. The street to the front of the hostal was annoyingly noisy during weekend nights due to people drinking and talking loudly until late.
The location is really convenient. Check in and out was a breeze and the clerks very friendly. Facilities were clean and spacious. The game bar was lively at night which surprised me.

I could see it was a type of hostel but from pictures it looked more family orientated. This is perfect for youngsters who want to party until 7.30am but I stayed there with my 10 year old son. And felt slightly uncomfortable as I saw no other children. No air con and as we were on the top floor the room was very warm. There were windows however, as soon as you opened the windows you can here the partying outside. No mini shampoos and conditioners or body wash (a bit of a shame) Not ideal for children Room was small not a lot of space to walk around the bed
It's perfect for youngsters Bed lovely and comfortable and rooms are clean Staff were friendly Funky atmosphere. I would have enjoyed it if I was there with a friend.

The room was very small and not the cleanest. The bed sheets had a few stains on them and the room was a little bit grubby overall.
The location was absolutely fantastic. So central to everywhere we wanted to go. Checking in and out was made very easy and we were able to leave our bags in lockers provided after checking out which was great.

Bs about not being able to take your own food and drinks and then have stpid prices for food and drinks .. if poor there's a supermarket across the road

There was a bit of dust near the pillow side in the upper bunk bed, but it was just really a minor thing. I guess it's also difficult for the cleaning person to touch some corners. But really not a big deal at all.
Friendly staff, super great location, you have a Netto supermarket just in front of the building. The communal lounge area is amazing with pool tables, comfy chairs, and a terrace. The hostel is clean overall, no surprise by Nordic standards actually. You have lockers in the rooms as well that are assigned to your bed, just make sure to bring a padlock, although it's super safe in Copenhagen. In short, the stay is really nice there, if you come with friends you won't get bored, if you come alone it's quite convenient.

They charge extra for towels - so bring one!
Great location and helpful staff! Amazing social area for people that would be interested but the rooms are peaceful and quiet upstairs.

I don’t mind a hostel but this was more for younger people and less family oriented. Also, the elevator takes forever during busy hours.
This was an affordable way to stay in Copenhagen.

There were no towels provided.
Room was good. Facilities were up to the mark. You have to walk a little from the metro stations, nearly 500-800 m. You can enter and exit freely, anytime.

You have to pay to store your luggage in the lockers after the checkout. The room bathroom was really small.
Excellent location, the staff was welcoming and friendly. Good value for money when staying in Copenhagen. The room was very simple but big enough, quite and cozy and the bed was comfortable.

The bathrooms in the room are too small, without shelf to put our hygieny stuff and the hangers too small for our clothes. In a mixed room this makes a lot of difference, since some people don't feel comfortable in change in front of others. In 3 days nobody from the hotel cleaned the toilet and, of course, some people are not so tidy as the others, so it was harsh to share 1 toilet with 8 people without a proper cleaning.
The room was warm and comfortable. The location was perfect, the streets very clean and not noisy. The hotel offered very good food, I had dinner there and I can recommend it! All staffs are friendly and the hotel offer a lot of games and different parties and happy hour.
