The lodge had a couple of maintenance issues. One of the smaller lights wasn't working and the shower head had been taped on with duct tape which once wet didn't work so I had to hold the shower head up whilst showering which was a pain.

The lodge is very convenient for Legoland, just a 10-15 minute walk away. The site is great with it's own animals and plenty of play areas for kids. There is also a trail you can do to find the code and be entered into a draw to win a prize. Unfortunately we didn't win but was good to see the site.

Cabin was good.. a bit cramped for 4 adults, but ok as a base …easy walking distance to legoland / lego house, laplandia.. shuttle bus between them all. we were falling over each other a bit. Beds were big enough for adults .. actually better than being in a caravan. kitchen was basic - kettle and a hot plate.. lots of cutlery and crockery. coffee cups like expresso cups … multiple buffets available around £30 a head , but all u can eat so worth ot of u eat a lot.. kids half price . but ample for what we needed.. would we go again… could do with a club or a takeaway.. everything seems to close by 9pm ..

The cooking stove could do with a renewal into a more modern type that heats up and cools down more swftly. The breakfast and evening buffets were a bit on the to expensive side so we didn't use that option as much as we might have liked to.

This place is just perfect for families with kids. The staff is great and helpful and our cabin was clean and very well kept. We had a very

While we were inside the mini market, a very rude lady kicked us out because they had to close in 1 minute. We wanted to buy some basic stuff, but she was furious, so we grabbed a bottle of water and left. ....😡😠 Inside the room, there wasn't even some toilet paper.

The location is really nice! Inside the woods.

I was surprised that the sheets and towers were extra charged and you have to return them to the reception office at check-out.

EVERYTHING is extra including bedsheets and towels which at GBP 220 a night I felt bed clothes and towels should be included. We stayed in the Wild West cabins we were provided with a dish cloth and one tea towel no dish soap but you are expected to wash the dishes we were only staying for 3 nights so having to buy dish soap was annoying. The shop is expensive they didn’t offer anything in small pack sizes like washing clothes detergent coffee or sugar or salt etc so make sure to pack your own. Billund town center is about 10-15 walk away where there is a REMA 1000 like a Lidl or Aldi so a lot cheaper. I would not recommend the pirates inn buffet it is very expensive and the food was just not good very dated and just poor quality.

The campsite is in great location less than 10 min walk to Legoland Park and Billund town center the park is very well maintained very clean and has great facilities. It’s just wonderful for kids has loads of playgrounds and some donkeys and goats. My kids loved the Wild West cabins it was just overall great fun.

The location was within walking distance to Legoland and Lalandia. For American travelers, there isn't air conditioning in the cabins. Not a bad thing, just something to know and understand.

Wifi was not great. TV -they should offer at least one kids channel in English (all is in Danish). Not as clean as I'd like (not dirty but you could see some little places that weren't cleaned thoroughly).

The location is supreme! Right across from Lalandia so you can go there and use those attractions. About a 10 minute walk to Legoland. If you don't have a car, you can take a taxi or walk to Lego House (about a 35 min walk). Wifi is so-so. Didn't have it in my bedroom or the kids' bedroom. The beds are comfortable enough. The place was clean-ish. You have to pay extra for linens and towels. The area is decent with some kids playing areas. Store onsite, restaurant onsite, the staff are pretty friendly. There's a free bus shuttle that goes all over that leaves right outside the store and near reception. Kids loved it. :)

It was rather dark in the cabin. In case of very bad weather, if it not that convenient to sit outside on the balcony, it probably gets cramped in the cabin.

I liked the camping style of the accommodation. It served all our 4 person family`s needs. It had all the essentials one needs. Staff was always available and extremely friendly, kind and helpful. There is an opportunity to sit on the terrace. Proximity of Legoland, Lalandia, playgrounds and shop. Many playgrounds on site.

The beds are quite small and you need to pay for linens unless you bring your own.

There is no much choice if you would like to visit Legoland during the summer. The cabin offers a good value as it is close to the Legoland, free shuttle bus to other places (such as Lego Museum), and a spacious place for family (up to 5 people in my cabin).

The takeaway service was unreliable. The schedule states that it is open daily in the evening from 5pm-9pm. However, with two very hungry children, it was extremely disappointing that we found the takeaway service closed without any sign in place to notify guests about this. When I inquired at the restaurant about this, they just said it was closed that day and that we could eat in the restaurant, which we did not want to.

Quite a well organised holiday village. The shuttle bus stop in front of the supermarket was really convenient. We appreciated that we could leave our luggage in their luggage room until we checked in and after check out.

We had to rent linen on top of the Cabin rental. The pillows, mattress and duvet were pretty awful (all very thin) and the Cabin was much smaller than anticipated for the price paid. Shower ran out of hot water one day too.

It was a great location - we were able to walk everywhere for Legoland, Lego House and Lalandia. It was really fun having Lego items in the cabin, that my 6 year old son loved! The facilities were ok.
