Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwedenNice hotel, but breakfast was kinda disappointing. Not much variety, just the basics. No pancakes!

Czech RepublicHowever, there are a few suggestions for improvement. The bed was quite narrow, which made it a bit cramped for two people. A larger bed would provide more comfort. Additionally, being in the old part of the city means the windows are wooden and offer poor sound insulation. As a result, we could hear nighttime revelers and passing cars, which woke us up a few times. But these are minor issues! Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose this hotel again!
We had a delightful stay at this wonderful hotel located in the heart of Copenhagen. The location is simply superb: just a 3-minute walk to Nyhavn and a 2-minute stroll to the famous Amalienborg complex with the majestic Frederik's Church. The hotel has recently been renovated, and it shows in every detail. The service is top-notch: upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed, and when it started to rain, the reception staff promptly offered us umbrellas. They also assisted us with our luggage, which was much appreciated. The hotel definitely lives up to its price and stated quality. The rooms were a pleasant surprise: contrary to some reviews, there are air conditioners, and the rooms were very comfortable. The bed was incredibly soft, and the room was equipped with all necessary amenities, including dishes, a mini-bar, tea, and coffee – everything that made our stay even more enjoyable. We can confidently recommend this hotel for a stay. We truly enjoyed our time here!

United StatesThe room was so small that it was difficult to do anything other than live out of the suitcase. It worked, but I did spend some time thinking about how it might be improved!
Check-in/staff were friendly, helpful, efficient. Breakfast was especially good, fresh, and offered many options...excellent! Location made Copenhagen very walkable.

United KingdomA few of my colleagues complained the curtains in their room was too thin and let in too much light.
Impressive selection of breakfast from salad, fruits, muesli, yoghurt, plant milk, pastries, scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, fresh breads and spreads. Staff were polite and helpful. Rooms were clean, spacious with hairdryer, toiletries, hangers and mini bar and snacks. Closed to most attractions, restaurants, metro, shopping area, and the famous canal.

United KingdomThere were some significant issues with noise. At night the terrace (or a similar door nearby) was slammed every evening at 2200. On my final day there was significant and disruptive maintenance type noise from 0800 - considering many like me had only got back from Eurovision at 0300 onwards the noise was a huge problem. I would stay again, but would insist on a more secluded room. Hotel was expensive, but seemed relatively competitive for Copenhagen.
Great location, close to the Palaces, Nyhaven and old town. Had some fun on arrival at Kongens Nytorv metro as it was the same day as the Danish Cup Final, had to make my way through fireworks, smoke and 15,000 Aarhus fans to reach the hotel.

LuxembourgSuggest not to take the room facing the street as it really noisy, other than that all perfect.
Nice atmosphere, friendly and helpful stuff. Historical building perfectly located for sightseeing, walking distance to many attractions. First night we got the room facing the street which was really noisy. After request room was changed to the one facing inner yard and it was perfect. Breakfast relatively good, although not a lot of variety in case you stay more than couple of days.
