We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

NetherlandsSea view was a bit obstructed by buildings, which didn’t matter much in the end. Curtains are not enough to keep the bathroom floor free of water after a shower, but not a big deal.
Nice hotel with modern furnishings. Excellent location in Aalborg. The room on one of the top floors facing the garden was good and quiet. Bathroom had nice toiletries. The breakfast was very good with a nice selection of sweets. Check-in/out process was smooth. Staff was very helpful.

IsraelI have asked for a quiet room, on the upper floor. This request was confirmed! I got a room at the 1st floor, noisy, on the street side. After failing to sleep because of the street noise, I complained but the answer was that the type of room I have chosen is available only on the 1st floor, facing the street ?)!! I had to upgrade to the only room left which was a junior suite on the 3rd floor, facing the water at substantial additional cost! (It was quite indeed). This is not right!! Also-at check in I have asked for one receipt to show all my payments. It was confirmed by the receptionist. When Apparently when I checked out it was not possible, and I was promised that I should get it to my mail. Still waiting There is no light on the working desk.

DenmarkWe paid extra to get a room with a view over the fjord. However, we ended on 1st floor with view directly towards another building (the fjord could be seen on the far left when going within a meter near the window), and if you did not want to appear naked to strangers at standing at the entrance, you would have to say goodbye to sunlight in the morning. We mentioned that the view did not meet the expectations, especially since we paid extra to get a nice view, but the employees argued that we should have booked a suite instead. I think that is a super bad argument when you market a type of room as "with sea view" and that you do not do anything to compensate or at least meet the expectations of the visitor.
