Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

CanadaIt’s a little far from downtown. We didn’t like the electronic check-in. The Buffett breakfast got crowded. It was difficult to get the hot food as it was too high and you hit the heat lamps. At breakfast the servers were very slow to clean up the tables. They turned the heat off in the hotel so we had get a space heater from them. You could hear through the ceilings in the rooms, walls were very thin. When people talked in another room you could hear them. Facecloths were not provided. The light switches were difficult to use. ( they weren’t the normal ones) The lighting in the bathroom was poor.

SloveniaThe room was clean, but not sparkling clean, you coud see the limestone in the bathroom and the glasses weren’t clean. It would be nice to have sleepers in the room.
The location was ok, 5 min walk from the subway, room was spacious and enough space for the suitcases, the bed was comfortable, in the room there were complimentary tea and coffee, the staff was nice and friendly. We could borrow the umbrella, as it was raining outside.

United KingdomNeed to ensure that their check in/out system Is working and if not that staff are on hand to sort out issues. Also servicing of the rooms was only carried out late on in the evening on first 2 days which was extremely inconvenient as we had completely a half marathon in the morning of the 2nd day and staff wanted to come into the room when we were trying to rest. This was not the case on the day we were leaving when staff wanted to clean room at 9am. Organisation needs to be improved.

United KingdomWe were on the 24th floor which afforded a great view of the city and the waterway close by. The room was large, light and airy. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was varied and included good quality products. The metro is just a 7 minute walk and the central areas can be walked to within 25 minutes. Staff were friendly.
