Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe standard room doesn’t come with tea/coffee facilities. Don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a hotel where I couldn’t make a cuppa in my room. Some of the room furniture was quirky, which looked good but wasn’t practical for my needs, e.g. bedside table not big enough to hold multiple devices.
Great, lively location but not noisy overnight when you’re sleeping. Easy access to multiple public transport options, but I pretty much walked everywhere. Decent breakfast options, which is included in all room types.

BelgiumWe were told to reserve breakfast and we did but when we got there for the two mornings there was not tables available to eat. We had to wait an one time we had to eat in the lobby. timing are not respected …. also the doors from other rooms when they close are pretty loud so you always hear closing doors.
location close to restaurant in the meat packing area. Close to metro and S train.. Although our shower was clogged and water flooded the staff were quick to respond and send someone to fix it.

United StatesWe had no complaints. The hotel was basic, clean and comfortable.
The property was clean and had everything we needed. Our room had a large door/window that overlooked the courtyard. The breakfast in the morning was wonderful with pretty much everything that I could want from cereal and yogurt to eggs, meat and potatoes. They even had yummy make your own waffles! The location was very convenient to mass transit, restaurants and shopping.

United KingdomThe windows can be fully opened. Meaning we had to keep a close eye on our children. A bath + shower would be better than the shower only fit out.
Nice modern design and friendly staff. I’d say kid friendly as well with a few games and colouring-in paper and pencils. Breakfast was good, cocktails and Mør restaurant food was great.

PolandNightclub and music till 3 outside my window, besides this it’s okish. Breakfast ok, but no fish or much fruits/veggies. Also i would expect some tea/kettle, fridge or free luggage depot (they have a few lockers to rent but too few, and I don’t like being charged for a standard hotel service)
It’s clean, really nice design, staff was helpful

United KingdomVery loud music from club next door to hotel until the early hours. Exceptionally busy at breakfast so had to eat it at a table in the reception area.
Really comfortable bed, lovely shower and great choice of food at breakfast. Also very close to S-train station.

SwitzerlandWe were supposed to check in at 3PM. We got there two hours earlier and we were charged 20 euros for an "early" check in. We agreed to that, but not many hotels charge if you get a little bit early. We had to book the breakfast time, but nobody checked it. It was very crowded when we got there.

AustraliaThe party attitude of the receptionist upon arrival late on a Saturday night. Only one chair in the room. A card not operating the lift.
The location nearby the old meatpacking area. A small but adequate room. A door opening to outside air.

Great Bar, well equipped gym (which I have not used), 5 minutes walk from a train station and only 15 min walk from main station. Rooms were modern and comfortable (we each stayed one person per room. Slightly crowded if sharing). Large choice at Breakfast. It is a huge hotel with a service of a much more intimate place

BelgiumLockers to store luggage require extra payment per hour, so that's something to keep in mind. The breakfast requires reservation of a slot and you have to make sure to book in advance: not possible to book on the same day. I wish we had a bit more natural light in the room, as the window we had was quite small.
The location was amazing, very close to the central station and in the middle of a trendy meatpacking district. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I left some stuff in the room after checking out and the kind receptionist helped me so kindly to pick it up a few hours later ❤️ Good breakfast with lots of options, and the cocktails at the bar were excellent. The rooms are very clean and comfortable.
