Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe breakfast has a opportunity to be great if these things are considered. Peak times are chaos and seating is super hard to find. There is a nominal booking system but no-one seems to pay any attention to it and staff are too busy to be able to manage it. The gluten free offering is woeful, there is a token table of packaged items (which I appreciate avoids cross contamination but other places manage with clear signposting and care/staff awareness.) The bread rolls that were put out during our stay were mouldy inside the packet - I gave one to restaurant server on first day, second day more of the same so took to reception - said they would take care of it - hopefully they did.
Great shared room for a family - pull out bed was v comfy and overall just about enough space for us all. Location was pretty good for walking to most attractions and transport links. The staff were all super helpful and friendly

ItalyThe breakfast service was lacking, with insufficient waiter coverage during peak times, causing delays in table cleaning. While the food quality was acceptable, having staff available to take orders for eggs or other meals would have been appreciated
The bar in the evening was well-stocked, and the staff were very friendly. The room was small but cozy, very quiet, and perfect for catching up on sleep after a long journey. The location was excellent, close to the canal with a lovely view.

SerbiaThe sofa bed is unacceptably uncomfortable. No matter how you adjust the heating in the room (with a maximum setting of 24 degrees), it remains quite cold. Additionally, standard hotel amenities like slippers and bathrobes are not provided.
The hotel's location is excellent. The staff are extremely polite, genuinely friendly, and very helpful. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful.

Czech RepublicSmall rooms, small beds, room service only on call, no closets for clothes, no coat hooks.
Big bathroom with bathtub, ambient lights, opening windows, quiet, excellent spa with pool, balcony in front of lifts, rent a bike service. There is a good swimming place in the sea, just in front of hotel.

United KingdomFamily room was quite small; lack of facilities for making hot drinks in the room - for the price I would have expected a kettle and some tea/coffee. We had to hire a kettle at an additional cost from the front desk. The breakfast service was very busy and it was difficult to find a table on one of the mornings despite the fact we had to book a slot in advance.
Good location (not far from main train station); clean and modern accommodation; very comfortable bed; plentiful breakfast

GermanyYou cannot open a window in the room, the air conditioning is on 24/7 and a little bit loud, and the room was pretty basic: no fridge, no way to make coffee/tea, not even a welcome bottle of water. We didn't have time to visit the wellness area but it was upon a price.
The room was spotless clean and the bed very comfortable. Excellent breakfast buffet. The staff was very friendly. In a walking distance from the city centre and there is also a bus station nearby with frequent buses to airport/train station/city centre.

SwedenI could not figure out how to operate all the light switches and ended up having to turn off all power to get the lights off at night. Nowhere to place shampoo and body wash except floor. No power point by the jug. Just a hole for the cord. Had to move the jug to an awkward spot to boil water. Also there was only black tea. Chamomile or other herbal tea would have been better. Same for breakfast and conference catering. No herbal infusions. Only black, green and roiboos teas.
Very good and healthy food in the breakfast buffet and conference catering. Nice looking hotel, quite good location, clean room of a reasonable size. I liked the option to not get my room cleaned. Restaurant ansvar was really great.

TurkeyFor cleaning room needs reservation. Rent a bike is so so expensive in hotel. (Also others extra things are so so expensive), So far from City Center. There are no bus or train to center at near of hotel. Maybe you can use ferry or rent a bike from Donkey Rebublic. there is not fridge in room. no any water and slippers. Sometimes the curtain opens suddenly.
Big, comfortable room and bath (aslo bed), amazing Canal View, big windows and roller blinds, good breakfast, friendly staff. Hotel is so close from Kalvebod Bølge. You can swim at there on summer days. We swam every morning.

SwedenTraveled as a family with kids 8 and 9 years old, they dont have kids menu and kids are not allowed to use the pool. Big minus was that when we wanted to leave our luggage for 3 hours one has to pay for that (lockers one floor down) and it was complicated paying for it. Its the first nice hotel I’ve experienced in my life that charges you for leaving bags after check out
Comfortable beds and location.

IcelandBreakfast closed at 9:30 on weekdays, which is far too early for travelers on holiday. While the food was good, the breakfast arrangement was chaotic. It was overcrowded, and booking a time slot, as the hotel requested, was pointless. The hotel didn’t reserve tables based on bookings, making it difficult to find a place to sit even at our scheduled time. Additionally, we were unexpectedly charged extra for luggage storage, which was disappointing. These two significant issues prevented me from giving the hotel a perfect 10.
The hotel is new and well kept. The beds are comfortable.

United StatesThough I appreciated the conservation of energy usage and efforts to reduce waste however the room was extremely uncomfortable in terms of proper Airconditioning and ventilation system, there was no window opening option others getting a good nights rest was extremely difficult , makes it harder to be rested for another sightseeing day so I recommend the Airconditioning and ability to push air into rooms that are occupied be given due consideration
Location was great, good clean facility with good staff, ambience Breakfast was exceptional , restaurant wasn’t open on Sunday and the roof top bar too was closed so if visiting on weekend food choices at hotel are very limited, The room with amenities was top notch
