Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomToilets could've been kept slightly cleaner. A water fountain/indication where to get a water refill would be helpful!
Super convenient location with a very comfy private corner room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend as a layover for a mini break.

CanadaThey confirmed they're 7/24 check-in. YES, it's right. BUT, they never tell before, you have to call them (posted in the front door) to come down to let you in after 11 p.m. It's late-night and I can't get a local sim to call them. Why don't they come down or answer when I rang the bell? I waited for 30 minutes when someone passed by to borrow a phone to call.

I loved the common areas, the bar and the terraces are very cool. The tents are also good planned, because they give you some privacy in a hostel atmosphere. And last but not least, the staff is so helpful and nice!

GermanySince it's really still a tent next to a tent (and noise-wise like camping) it can be loud. And it got quite warm at night. The bathrooms are similar to a campground with loads of ppl using it, after the weekend they were quite smelly, as the water of the showers was not really running off as fast. (The toilets were mainly clean.)
The tents are quite unique and the common area with terrace super nice, especially during warm and sunny days. Even on a sort of workation it was a great space to work in. The coffee refill in the morning is super cool and was often strong and tasty. With bikes you're in the city centre within 10-15 min. It's been a very nice stay in a wonderful city.

BelarusWe were living in inside-tents, not rooms, so these tents are only suitable for sleeping, there were only bads and lockers. Also the ventilation is not perfect, so without windows it lacks some fresh air. Also these tents are not locked at all, which also makes one feel a bit insecure even if the hostel staff is working 24/7.
I liked the politics of silent hours and pretty good sound proof. While it was pretty noisy in the common area, the living space was keeping quiet. The location is good, pretty close to the city center, metro, grocery stores. There was a possibility of renting a bike, byuing some necessary things such as padlocks, raincoat etc. The staff is friendly and helpful.

ItalyBreakfast was ok, maybe add something more on the sweet side. And people talking loudly after 10pm and at 7 in the morning. Should specify also a and hour in the morning like “keep quiet until 9am” because the majority of our floor was still sleeping.
The lobby was very cute and the atmosphere was top notch. The staff was always friendly, the concept was modern and innovative and we had a great time with the rental bikes.

Hong KongOverall the tent and bathrooms are clean. But sometimes, people left the floor wet, thought staffs there have already putting big efforts.
Absolutely fantastic. I had a very good experience in this wonderful hostel with cozy environment and amazing vibes. The location is good and there are shops nearby. I met some really cool people here and spent a day cycling around with the bicycle I rent from here. This hostel provides cheap and good breakfast so I didn’t need to spend too much money on food.

NetherlandsThe fact that the bathroom in the living room was very dark was strange. I couldn't see if the toilet seat etc. was clean. The bathroom and showers at the tent area looked clean but the showers still smelled of pee during my whole stay.
The "living room". Big space where there I could hang out, meet people, play a game, have a beer at the bar, buy something to eat, or even bring my own food and drinks (except alcohol, which is understandable). Close to a mini food truck with amazing food and also close to the supermarket. Close to a station where you could get to the city centre very easily, by bus train or metro.

PolandNot the best neighbourhood and there is a huge problem with silence while sleeping - the cleaning ladies were super loud in front of the tents regardless of keep quiet signs and the beds are very uncomfortable tbh
Very nice staff - super fast check in, great common space with a lot of activities and sockets to load the phone/laptop, clean bathrooms that are spacious so no problems with waiting in the line in the morning

NorwayI stayed in the tent for women. They are not actually rooms with walls per say but multiple tents side by side with 4 beds and lockers as shown in pictures. This means that you can pretty much hear everyone in the neighboring tents. (I must mention that there are quiet hours in the hostel). I had the top bunk bed which had very limited head room which means that you can barely sit up without the tent touching your head. I would have appreciated a little more brighter light in the room and more hooks in the room to hang your clothes/small bags.
It is located very close to the underground Metro station. Many supermarkets, and small eateries around. The staff seem to be very friendly & helpful folks. There were multiple toilet and shower stalls which were cleaned regularly. Good bedding, laundry facilities. The common area had a very friendly and happening vibe especially during the evening. A truly hostel experience. Affordable. Good opportunity to meet fellow travelers.

CanadaObviously not an easy or expected change, but my only complaint is the choice of material to create the faux tents -- it makes them quite warm/humid.
The atmosphere, the staff, and proximity to convenience stores, Metro, etc.
