Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

EstoniaYou could hear a bit the people in the corridor but it was not a big deal breaker. There was no kettle in the room.
Very good location and clean rooms. Friendly staff. The breakfast was a very good value for the money. Definitely would stay there again.

United Kingdom.......
It's a great location, 5 min walk from Nyhavn. It's expensive for me because I'm from Scotland but my Danish friends believe it's not expensive, so it's all relative really. They recommended it to me Dead comfy beds, black out curtains and hairdryer in room. No restaurant or bar but you can get a beer and bring in take out food and eat it in the lounge which is quite comfy

Location was easy to get to and from airport. It was a good location for my base from which I could do what I wanted during my stay in Copenhagen.

GermanyOur room was smaller than standard double rooms in most hotels we have stayed at, and had no tea/coffee facility. The shower/toilet is only separated from the room by a milky glass wall, so not very private, and awkward if you're not sharing with a spouse. To get our toilet paper restocked, we had to order a room cleaning, which is done by email to reception.
The hotel was easy to find and quick to check-in. Extremely convenient location. We like to walk, and were able to reach all of Copenhagen's main attractions by foot within 30min. The hotel lounge was quite lively, it seemed to be popular for coworking and hanging out. The hotel clearly attracts a vibrant crowd, judging by the trumpet practice we heard from a nearby room. Otherwise, besides staff vacuuming rooms, no noise from outside our room. Breakfast buffet was great: enough diversity of choice, frequently restocked, very nice warm bread & croissants. Considering coffee and pastry prices in Copenhagen, the breakfast was also quite cheap at DKK90. Despite the size, our room was quite functional and cozy enough. Mattress and pillows were perfect medium hardness, so we slept great.

United StatesThere are just a couple of things to be aware of... rooms are cleaned only "on demand". This means that if you stay for a week your room won't be cleaned at all unless you make a daily request. We were told of this when we checked-in so were aware. Second, given that the hotel is centrally located, there are bars and clubs nearby. This means there is a lot of street noise, especially so on weekend nights. If you are a light sleeper then it is worth paying for a higher floor (we were on floor 6 of 6) with a room that faces the quieter side of the hotel. The next time we stay we would stay again on the higher floor but choose a room on the quieter side of the hotel.
This was our first trip to Copenhagen so booked this hotel based entirely on ratings and reviews. We were not disappointed! The hotel was centrally located so we could walk to most places we intended to visit. The rooms were modern and clean but, as others have noted, are really intended for bathing and sleeping as they are on the smaller side. That said, the huge, modern lobby was really the place to hang out when choosing to unwind from a day of sightseeing. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet for the first couple of days of our stay but found other alternatives as we became more familiar with the city -- there are dozens of bakeries and cafes within a few blocks of the hotel. Given the central location, clean rooms, and comfy lobby, we would definitely stay here again!

GreeceThe pillows are small. Maybe bigger pillows or two per person would be better. It would be great to add a small fridge and safe to the rooms.
The location is perfect. Close to the centre, Nyhavn and to different metro stations, but in the meantime very quite. The staff was very kind and helpful. 24/7 reception. Breakfast buffet was very nice with different options 6:30-10:00. A much cheaper and better option than having breakfast from the bakeries which are pretty expensive.

GermanyI didn't like the machines for the key at the entrance. I had to talk with the staff to get my key. So they were pointless and confused for me -special as a welcome in our hotel. I also didnt like how small was the room and cold, i couldnt sleep wellthe first night, because it was cold.
The location was perfect! I think thats the best in this hotel. The room was smaller than i expected with no view. I prefered to not take breakfast in the hotel because of the very central area and i had many choices to eat breakfast/brunch somewhere else.

CanadaThe room was modern looking in photos but felt 10 years outdated, there was small things like rust on the shower, creaking of the sink and the cheap plastic shower that really did not bother me but it did feel dated.
Hotel is in a great spot in the downtown core with some great restaurants nearby (sticks & fish is worth the money). Check in/out was easy with a decently above average bed. The room is small but the price is nice
