Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomA great value hotel, in a good location. Perfect for a few nights stay in Copenhagen. Only a short walk to a couple of metro stations making it easy to access the rest of the city.

United KingdomIt would have been nice if I could have left my luggage at no cost. The lockers weren't expensive but they filled up quickly.
Great location, all the major tourist spots were walkable. Very clean room and comfortable bed. The room isn't large but I didn't spend that much time in it anyways. The shower was nice and staff were friendly.

United StatesThe bed could be a bit softer - just a little... Absolutely no other complaints!
We stayed here for the low price (which is as good as it gets in Copenhagen - expensive place) and the central location - it is right in the middle of everything and yet, down a quiet street. Cafes, grocery, 7-11 and street food within feet. The Metro is only a few blocks. We walked to the Botanic Garden easily; the Little Mermaid with a bit more effort; Skaal was an easy walk; a canal, churches, multiple squares and a palace all within 15 minutes so if you are mobil at all, there's plenty to do without transport. We stayed in the budget room for 2 nights - it is small and the shower and bathroom are small so if you can't handle close quarters, don't do it. We travel in a tiny camper for weeks at a time so this was okay for us. There is counter space in the bathroom and 4 pegs for towels and bathroom bag - a lot more than a lot of places that cost more! Lots of bathroom light and the mirror is fairly close. We're both on the taller side but not heavy so the bed was okay - long enough for the 6'1" one of us and enough width - I think it is about an "American Queen"-size. There is one small table and 2 chairs so we had to move our bags (2 carry-on sized suitcases, a backpack and a tote bag) to the bed for the day but there is a large drawer under the bed where the second duvet and pillow are stored so we stowed some things there. 2 usb plugs and electrical outlet at the desk/table in the room and elec. in bathroom. The window opens and the ac worked (don't hold the button down, press it multiple times - there are directions but I got it wrong for the first 10 tries). We were on the back courtyard side with business offices across from us (not unsightly) so it was quiet but I don't think the hotel was at capacity and it was a weeknight so I can't say how quiet hotel is but there was no street sound.

GermanyThis is my go-to hotel in Copenhagen. I love its proximity to the city center, to Nyhavn, and to the metro that connects directly to the airport. The rooms are very small, but very comfortable.

We did not have the breakfast the location was good the cobblestone walkways from taking the subway and then walking with 2x50 pound suitcases was not that great. Everybody was really nice. The service at the hotel was really slow people bud in line in front of us. That were standing behind us at the back of the line we’re taking right to the front to prevent a long line of however they forgot about the people standing in front of them. We did request check however we weren’t able to do that but there was about 50 people that checked in at the same time. There was only two staff there at the time. We were required to leave our suitcases there which was an open area the suitcases were not locked. It was actually my roommate was extremely tiny as well. It was Put a bath in the bathroom so you had to come out into the bedroom to put your bathroom on so I came out of the bathroom naked in front of my friend. Around the hotel was really nice the Cestone walkways the hotel itself in front of the restaurant was very beautiful having all the stores close by was really nice having an airport not so far was really great stories that were around us were open at all times and were very courteous to our request and The people that were staying there or that there actually were absolutely amazing I would love to come back to Denmark . Maybe Next time I can come and visit the port and come for a swim and actually get a reservation at Noma I waited four months to make reservation and they were sold out. It was heartbreaking for the third time that I tried to come to normal but I was not able to make it and they’re closing at the end of this year I am turning 50 this year and I’m completely heartbroken. I’ve been watching for about 20 years I’ll never get to eat there. I wish they had a better way of setting things up I really wanted to celebrate my birthday this year because I am turning 50 and it was my lifelong dream to eat at that restaurant. I am heartbroken. But I love Denmar

Czech RepublicYou have to order cleaning by e-mail even if you stay 4 nights and when they “clean” the room, they still don’t bring new toilet paper rolls (we had two for 4 nights!). No tissues, very lowcost body wash. Almost no equipment (no shoe sponge etc.) The receptionist during our check in was not professional at all, didn’t say a word.
Location was great.

United StatesBreakfast was ok, but I wish there were more fruit options, such as prune, apricots, or plums. Might be a seasonal thing. Saw orange slices one day - should have been available more often. Perhaps pastries or a sweet option. More of a personal preference than a criticism.

United StatesNot enough space in the room to empty clothing from our suitcase. Only a drawer. no shelves or cabinet. Wished there was a tiny refrigerator too.
Ideal location! Very comfortable lobby area. We played cards and had a couple drinks there. The rooms are very small, but understandable in central Copenhagen. Air conditioning worked well - were there in early September and it was very warm.

AustraliaIncessant emails about buying breakfast (even after we had left!). You have to pay to leave your luggage (watch out as it will eat your money because the locker doors are bent and may not shut properly). The wifi constantly wouldn’t connect and I had to forget & re-login.
Great central location and easy 5 min walk to Kongens Nytorv metro station (all lines, including airport). The hotel was simple but comfortable. There is a supermarket behind the hotel for supplies. There are many bars & restaurants close by. Breakfast looked chaotic.

CanadaSoundproofing between rooms is limited. Breakfast room busy and crowded. Hard to get hot water at front desk as it’s busy. No kettle in room.
Room is very small, so okay for one, but would be a challenge for two. It was very clean. Efficient use of space. Breakfast is excellent. Lots of healthy choices—cheese, meats, vegetables, breads, yogurt, muesli, fruit, boiled eggs, good coffee machines. Location is terrific; hotel is walkable from Central Station—about 40 minutes with small roller bag.
