Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe hotel was massive. Rooms can be very far from the lifts. Had to pay for the lockers in order to store luggage after or before check in.
The location - it was close to the everything in the centre including the metro.

United KingdomThe downstairs near the toilets and outside had a bit of smell as during check in time in the morning hours. Not enough shower gel in the shower area. Hard bed and very soft pillow, no blinds fir privacy. Lockers should not be charged for guests, if you need to get back into the locker, you will like money. No kettle, tea facilities. For active people who don't have time gor breakfast or simply choose not to have breakfast, a kettle would have been a good option.
Very good location, clean room, good shower.

AustraliaOne of the nights we stayed there someone triggered the fire alarm, causing the entire hotel to be evacuated in the early hours of the morning. Luckily, it was a false alarm and we could go back to our rooms quickly. The foyer area had a constant smell of old cigarette smoke. The rooms also do not seem to have black-out curtains or blinds, which can be an issue to light sensitive people during the Danish summertime.
We only used the room for sleeping at night. The buffet breakfast is good and a much cheaper option than going to a place outside the hotel. The location is also in a good spot in terms of closeness to tourist attractions and reasonably close to transport methods such as the Metro. The staff were also friendly and helpful. We were also able to store our luggage at the hotel for DKK20 in their large locker facilities when we checked out and still wanted to explore the city a little while.

IrelandCarpet cleaning needs improvement in the future and we couldn't get the air conditioning to work properly despite making sure the window was closed. They missed servicing our room despite email booking for one but thankfully provided us fresh towels.
Location was perfect. I expect it to be small but was better than the budget room we had in London. Quiet room as well. Very handy taxi button at the reception entrance.

SerbiaThe room is impossible to host two people, the bed is too small for that (no matter the sizes of the persons). The air con is very noisy, so person can't sleep if it is on. There isn't the mini bar (i.e. refrigerator), which is understandable due to the room size and clearly stated in the room description. There are often long queues at the reception (even though two receptionists work there, but there are three posts), so it's quite inconvenient if you're in hurry and wait to buy the storage locker, as it was my case.
Location is perfect - very near to the central area and to three metro lines. Room is small but very functional, equipped with all needed amenities. Breakfast is ok, but they serve only boiled eggs and not, for example, scrambled eggs, which was the reason I paid for it only one day.

IrelandI know the type of product offering so I knew the room size would be small and compact. They could do a better job however at adding colour to the room to make it more welcoming - it is a tad clinical.
Location is very central. The bed is very comfortable. Breakfast selection was good, never too busy. Auto check-in and check-out makes for a very quick and efficient formalities.

UkraineThe only thing I was missing was a toilet brush and at least some kind of closet (I put things on the windowsill, which is also good, but when I needed to open the window, it was inconvenient). I also wanted to ask if possible to add a towel for the feet, since after a shower it was unpleasant to stand on the cold tiles.
The hotel was very good, good location in the center, just 5-10 minutes walk to the main New Marina. There are many grocery stores nearby, 5 minutes walk to the metro. As for the hotel itself, the staff were very friendly and pleasant, they made my stay very good. The rooms are clean, with a shower, a table, two chairs and a TV. I was also very pleased with the instantly arriving elevators.

United StatesThe room was fairly small but still comfortable. If you're planning to spend most of your time outside of the hotel, it's great. The only thing very disappointing....we asked for an extra pillow and were told there were none available.
The location is perfect for exploring Copenhagen. Short walk to the Metro and easy access to all public transportation. Lots of attractions, restaurants, and shopping within a relatively short walk. Definitely recommend for a weekend stay.

SpainMaybe the lack of a closet, to solve it more hangers could be helpful, room is small but if you are just going to sleep there it will be enough. Cant really say much more, in general aññ was good.
The location was amazing! It is located in a very good place with easy access to the metro and many othwr services, just for the location I would book it again in a future travel to this city. The staff has very helpful and friendly. The rooms were a bit smaller than I thought but well we only used it to sleep after sightseeing so it was ok. I felt the area was safe.
